On most cruise lines plain coffee, hot tea, ice tea, milk, juice at breakfast and all food except speciality restraunts is free. If you are a pop or fancy coffee drinker, buy the "pop card" which is usually just a sticker added to your sea pass as it is the best deal. On Princess lines you can choose between two different pop cards. One is just pop and one includes milk shakes and mocktails. Speciality restraunts range from a flat $4.99 (Johnny Rockets) to $25 per person for the fancy steak places. Some cruise lines also offer water, juice and wine cards. IMHO, the only thing that was not really clear cut that there was a price or fee involved was the sail-a-way drink. They act like they are going to give it to you then after you take a drink the ask for your sea pass (room card); RUDE but true. Of course all alcohol, souvenirs, photos and some of the activites cost more but they are clearly marked just like any other store or a big sign. Also the arcade, casino and some activities like bingo, wine tasting and virtual golf are not free. Hope this helps.... Have a super fun vaca!!!!

Are the stuff you have to pay for clearly listed?

Just wondering how I will know what is free & what costs extra.

Obviously alcohol & souvenirs have a cost, but is the cost listed for all to see? I would prefer no "surprises" Thanks :)

If it costs, you will be handed a pen and a receipt to sign, and you will get a copy.

If you drink a lot, you will have a lot of signed receipts.

On Carnival you still have to sign for a room service deliver- Its free though. (tip in cash)

The guys walking around the pool bar with the fancy drinks on a tray - there is no sign on that tray- they are NOT free.

The guy will ask you if you would like a drink--making it sound like its free- Its not.
