Wrinkle Free Sundresses

I just bought 3 dresses for $43 with free shipping! I REALLY hope they fit!!! I was looking for a few cheap dresses to wear on the Carnival Victory and I haven't had any luck in the retail stores.

I'm only 5'3 and I love the Maxi style but can never find on that fits me right. I think the leopard bandau tea length dress might do it if I'm measuring correctly. :)

Is there a Belk Dept. store near you? I found a nice maxi dress at Belk in the petite dept -- on sale for $19. I am 5' 1". This was my "go-to" outfit for when my hubby and I would sit on our balcony in the evening; he loved it!

There is a Belk near my parent's house, I'm not sure there is one near me (if there is I've not seen it). If this dress doesn't work I will check them out. Thanks for the tip!!

Just checking back in...this dress is really cute but it is cut low:eek:. I have worn in to work but I have to wear a sweater with it. They are comfy though:)

Thanks for sharing the links to these beautiful dresses. Those of you in the US are very lucky to have free shipping. Retailsos won't ship to Canada, waiting for another one to get back to me. These dresses are amazing deals!

Wow, great dresses! But are they clingy in the midsection? Also, does this fabric really keep you cool in the hot weather? I always thought it was better to wear natural fibers (cotton, etc) in hot weather?

Thanks in advance! :)

I ended up buying the first 3 because the last 2 were sold out of my size and I just happen to have a credit sitting in my paypal account I forgot about so it didn't cost me anything! I hope they fit.

Goldne - I tend to be a colder person so can't comment on the fabric, I do have similar dresses and what I love most is that they don't wrinkle.

As far as clinging to the midsection, the last 3 I posted will be looser around the midsection, the first 2 are a straighter cut and wouldn't be as forgiving.

For anyone not in the US that is interested in purchasing, I bought from featuredenterprises, the shipping is reasonable and he is willing to combine.

I love the 3rd dress because it is a shorter "long" dress, I am short and find regular dresses too long.

When I get them I will let you know how they fit

My dresses have arrived and there wasn't any duty!

They are quite nice for the price. As far as sizing goes, 1 fits perfect (black and teal bandeau) and the other 2 are quite generous. I am a size 6 and ordered size small. They are not clingy at the midsection at all. The floral bandeau sundress comes to my mid calves (I am 5'2") a perfect length for shorter people, The 2 with the bandeau tops could be worn as a dress with the right bra (although there is a bit of padding there is no support). The halter sundress is only good for a coverup, the top is quite loose and doesn't have a ton of coverage.

I love the dresses, but I am wondering how they work with larger/um, droopier breasts. I am 67 and don't think the bandeaus would work for me.

Anyone with a larger chest tried these dresses, especially the ones with a built in bra? So far I've never found a maxi dress that works for me. 5'3", 135#. I don't want to have to wear a bra with them.

When you bought your last ones, were they heavy or lighter weight? My last two summer casual dresses looked really cute and lightweight in the photos. When they arrived they were heavy as all get out... like a heavy weird knit material.

I know these technically aren't sundresses, although the Blue one could be I recently bought these.

Any dress that I can pack without wrinkling is for me, I recently bought these two dresses and they are so comfortable and light... I ordered them from Amazon and they arrived in three days. I went with the XL, I normally wear a 14 and occasionally a 16 in dresses and they fit great, not snug at all.

The description listed is~

  • 92% Poly 8% Spandex
  • This slinky dress feels smooth and cool on your skin.
  • Wrinkle free, making it perfect for packing on cruise or vacation.
  • Empire waist cut is slimming as it flares into a swinging skirt.

Soma sells really cute dresses and maxi dresses. They pack well and don't wrinkle much (they come out when you hang them). Today only you can get 50% off your highest priced item when you buy 2 items, using code 19892. I was able to get a full price maxi dress and a clearance shrug for $56 including tax and shipping.

OMG!! Just found some new favorites! Love the material...lightweight like you are not wearing anything:D and does not wrinkle...very important when you cannot take your iron. It is hard for me to wear any other material on a cruise especially when in "sticky" climates!

So glad I found this board! I have found a wealth of information to help me get ready for our cruise. Thank you so much for leading me to this eBay store. I am now officially addicted to these dresses and the prices are unbelievable. The silky, stretchy, spandex material will come in handy when my stomach starts to expand, probably around day2 of our cruise ;)
