I really can't believe they offer me room service and it actually arrives and then they come and collect all the dirty dishes and the tray!! Plus, they have the nerve to take my used towels and leave fresh ones....

Yeah, and those ocean-front rooms with balconies they make you stay in. The Nerve!!!!

 

But seriously, I was just on my 4th Carnival cruise earlier this month and I have to say it was the best ever. So, maybe some of it was because I may be a little more "cruise wise" and knew what I wanted to do and what I didn't care if I missed, but that's the great thing about it. It's your dime and you can do as little or as much as you want.

 

Oh, absolutely hated them ramming that WCMC down my throat ;).

And then, if you keep coming back, they make you platinum. Can you imagine them doing your laundry for you and folding it and bringing it back instead of YOU having to round up quarters and stay in a hot laundry room. The nerve.

 

Oh yeah, making you jump the line to get on first, and off first. I'm not even going to think about the hors d'oevres and sweets they bring to your room. More calories, what are they thinking. I could complain more but I think I'll just count the days again until we are forced to get on the Legend first in January...

I am really dreading our upcoming cruise in January. I can't believe that I will not be able to make my own breakfast and that I am going to be forced to eat filet mignon and lobster for dinner. Ugh.

 

And it really pisses me off that every morning when I get back from the gym (that I had to walk three whole flights of stairs to) my bed is made! And then when I come back at night someone has had the audacity to turn my sheets down for me and put a stupid animal made out of laundry on my bed!

 

And what's with the ice bucket? If I blink the dang thing is full again! The nerve!

 

And those horrid past guest parties. The waiters walk back and forth and keep plopping free liquor down in front of me. And then after they get me all liquored up they expect me to walk all the way home... like one whole flight of stairs to my freshly cleaned room??? Sucks!!!

 

And the sun! It's so bright in January... and so warm! Seriously???

I know how dare Carnival do these things thats why am I in NO way counting down the days (133 8hrs :-) ) until my March cruise on the Dream. I don't want to have to be on a ship that makes wonderful food (so I don't have to) and fresh clean towels (with out me having to do laundry) and then actually let me get off the ship on beautiful islands thats not a life for me...LoL :-)

they made me take 50% off that cruze, and take 50% off another..then to top THAT off, since I made Milestones, INsisted on another 25% off..and to make matters worse...demanded I take the interline rate reduction, last week they had the audacity to LOWER my price by $40+ bucks!!!!NOW their math seems to be allllll wrong, as it adds up to only $301.00 for that darned ole 16 day TA of the new Magic! How much more AWFUL can you be Carnival, to treat me this way ??? you'll prolly make me have, what you call fun, meet new friends, and be papmered for over 2 weeks, what have I ever done to deserve such treatment ??? :D

and to think.. this Thanksgiving I'll really miss having to stand for hours cooking and cleaning and putting up with "certain" relatives! I"ll have to endure being pampered and spoiled while someone else does the work... and what's up with waking up and seeing those beautiful islands..sigh..

And for all of those of us with kids out there, how DARE they provide a safe, free camp for my kids to go and play with new friends. And even worse - they will take them and feed them dinner while I have a quiet, relaxing dinner in the Steakhouse. And the worst part, they have my kids brainwashed to ask to cruise over and over again! The NERVE of these Carnival People!:eek:

To think they have the nerve to give me a balcony on my cabin with those stupid robes and room service that bring me coffee in the morning. Then they expect me to look at the ocean when I could be home on my patio looking at nothing. :eek:

I agree with you about the ice cream but what about the PIZZA 24 hours a day. PIZZA for breakfast PIZZA for lunch PIZZA for dinner PIZZA at 4am after the casino closes and then I'll have some ICE CREAM.:D

I am so sick and tired of all that Carnival does.

 

They dont control the weather.

 

They send me on these trips where I get to see new cultures and places. I get to meet new people. Go on great adventures. Taste new cuisine. Or just find a place in the sun and site.

 

They prepare all this wonderful food which I have no choice but to eat so I gain 5-10 pounds.

 

They have all this staff that is great and takes care of all my needs. I dont even have to make my bed!

 

I can drink and they will drive for me.

 

I am just so sick and tired of being pampered for days at a time.

 

I'm sure I have missed more valid points as well.

 

 

Anyone ready to jump ship?

Patience. I am sure in a matter of time in the name of efficiency and cost reduction Carnival will take care of most of your complaints.

I just opened my CCL scrapbook page set..I need to make a new door dec..got them ripped off..even with my pic on it..It had been on 32 or so cruzes w/me...so....on the "bubbles that speak"..there is one that says..... "lucky me" how cool is that! gotta get busy with my CC page too..gluin this week for my new door decs!
