Pandora Murano Bead

There are several glass makers on Murano, not just one. You could spend days just wandering from one to another, but seeing a lot of the same type of stuff.

There are Pandora retail outlets in Venice (see their web site here: http://www.pandora.net/it-it/stores); however, you'd be buying the same product there that you could at home, but paying a lot more for it. Pandora jewelry is made in Thailand and shipped all over the world.

If you are going to be in Venice, walking from the St Lucia train staion to St Peters you will be walking past many shops and vendors that sell all sorts of glass products. There are vendors on Rialto Bridge as well. You will find the beads and much more on the way. It may not (is not) be Pandora trademark product but, it is Murano or Venitian glass and you wll bring back a special memory.

You don't have to go to the island of Murano to get the glass, it is all over Venice. If you are there for only one day, I would skip Murano anyway.
