And a good morning to you! Nuttin to do today, huh?

 

I came back from the grocery store saying I was going to clean out the pantry and do some other cleaning things. sigh....here I sit....:eek::rolleyes:

I gotta go to the grocery store in a little while.

Susan got me craving a Fried Bologna Sandwich yesterday, so I gotta go get some Bologna and Git R Done.....then I'll quit thinking about it!:rolleyes::p

I'm thinking some steaks for supper tonight.

I'm sure of it. Last month, I had a mild case when I ate a pork dish from our cafeteria when I was on nights. I even mis-blamed it on the diner down the street. Wednesday, I had a pork and chicken plate from the cafeteria for lunch. As the day went on, the symptoms started. That night, my ankles and knees started to hurt. The next day everything hurt and I had fever and chills at the same time. Then, late Thursday, the cleansing part began. I thought maybe they were two different things I got back to back; but now that I read up on it, I see they are symptoms that are common to food posioning, depending upon the cause.

Well, looking on the bright side of it:rolleyes:, if it's food poisoning then your not contagious, so Carol should be okay. Hope you feel better today!:)

I saw on John's FB where the Conquest will be delayed in getting home in the morning, due to returning to Coz for a medical emergency. 10am arrival.

Hope the Guest is okay.

Guess everyone can sleep in in the morning!

I'm so bored, I really need to find something to do......but what?

You can always come clean my house !! That would get you unbored in a hurry ! We're going through and boxing up some of the kids stuff for them to take to their HOUSE !!! I do not need soccer, baseball, football, track trophies, ribbons or games !! :eek:

It depends. Depends on the bacteria or virus which is driving it. Noroviruses and other similar things are examples of food poisoning. That is why I am being overly cautions on the sanitation thing right now.

We're back from the gym & a couple errands. What a gorgeous day!

Dennis, I hope you get some good news today.

I'm sorry to hear about the problem on the Conquest. Hopefully the passenger will be fine, and G/No G will enjoy a couple extra hours on board.

OK, maybe I'll go do something productive. I keep talking about my closets needing attention, but I'm all talk and no action!:rolleyes:

Absolutely gorgeous day in Corpus......a nice long visit with the soon-to-be new townhouse really convinced us we got a good deal...and our renter wants to move in today....and jump off the deck into the canal :rolleyes:

I'm so distraught.:eek::eek: Somewhere between Midnight last night and 11 this morning my little MP3 player that I love so much has vanished.....into thin air.

You have to understand how special this thing is to me, it's very small, fits in my pocket, great for mowing and it is filled with about 7 hours of cruise music.......I am just devastated. :mad:

Last known siting was at midnight when I turned it off and came in the house.

It was on the back porch along with the speaker, speaker is still there.........I'm so sad. :(

Back to your regular programming, just had to get that off my chest.

Just because the laptop itself is dead doesn't mean you still can't get the music off the old hard drive. They make a simple adaptor and cable for just a few bucks that you can connect your old hard drive to your computer with a USB.

You're welcome Julie. Just hope the hard drive wasn't totally fried. As long as it still spins and the controller works, you should still be able to get the data off of it. If any of the songs were purchased with iTunes, you might need to "re-authorize" the current computer you dump the old songs onto.

As I begin the forth day of this food poisoning I am only going to drink lots of water and liquids, no food. I did not realize until I was reading up on it this morning that fever and chills were typical symptoms also. So that part wasn't the flu but the beginnings of the food poisoning. No more eating from that cafeteria at work!

 

...Or a bit of BOTH...

 

I hope you get to feeling better!!! It's YUCKY and frustrating to be sick!!!
