Meyer2 Posted September 15, 2011 Author #52 Share Posted September 15, 2011 So at this point it was about 1:05, time to meet at the Atrium Bar for our cabin crawl/poker run. Jena put everything together for the details & she did a great job!!!! Each of us had a little something in the cabin too for sharing & we made a toast in each cabin. We had a really great time. Do you have the option of buying an 8X10 or a smaller version of the same shot? I prefer 5X7s usually.
Meyer2 Posted September 16, 2011 Author #61 Share Posted September 16, 2011 THANKS! Do you have the option of buying an 8X10 or a smaller version of the same shot? I prefer 5X7s usually. The 1st photo you buy of that shot, has to be the size they have already printed. If you get a reprint of a post, it was $10 & you had like 4 different options. Meyer2 Posted September 16, 2011 Author #62 Share Posted September 16, 2011 The cabin crawl ended about 3:00, so mom & I ran by the cabin to drop off the camera & goodies. We then went up to lido to get some chips & cheese for a small snack. Got back to the cabin about 3:45 & we started getting ready for dinner, Elegant night. Starting at 5:00 on the Promenade deck, would be the Captain's Celebration. After getting ready, we went up to Promenade where it didn't take long & we saw the Captain. We then decided to sit along here by the Casino for drinks. I had Rum Punch in the Disco Ball & mom had a glass of wine. A few minutes before 6, we headed to the Wind Song dining room. We were missing 2 tablemates tonight, but here's the rest of us.
Meyer2 Posted September 16, 2011 Author #63 Share Posted September 16, 2011 For Dinner, my mom had the Pumpkin soup & shrimp cocktail as her starter. (Oops, I forgot a picture of the soup. LOL) I also had the shrimp cocktail. Mom had the Lobster & Grilled Shrimp, although she only ate 1 of the shrimp, I had the rest of them. She had the Bitter-N-Blanc for dessert. I had the St. Louise Style Ribs w/fries, Mom shared this with me, so yummy. I had the WCMC for dessert.
Meyer2 Posted September 16, 2011 Author #64 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Here's a picture showing the WCMC under the top layer. Sorry it's a little blurry, I guess the focal point was off to the left of the WCMC, but you can still get the idea some. Just as we were finishing dessert, it was time for the waiters to dance. Tonight it was Amore' (sp?) Anjit dancing with Eunice from our table. And then Anjit dancing with my mom. About 2 minutes after they were done, Montre (sp?), our head waiter started coming to our table with a dessert, candle & other waiters. They came over to me & started singing Happy Birthday. I was not expecting that, LOL, turns out my TA had put it down as celebrating my Birthday since it was within 2 wks of the cruise. Banana cake, it was good, but I only had a couple of bites as I was full. **I can't edit one of the previous posts, it's too late, but before dinner, we did go & get some of the pictures taken which we purchased some later on. BettyPC Posted September 16, 2011 #69 Share Posted September 16, 2011 What a great review - You & your Mom look so happy! I wonder if you know if there is a "cabin crawl" game thread - I liked the idea of the cards etc... We are going on a cruise next March & I wanted to do something like that for our M&M group if there was interest! Thanks again for sharing with us! Lv2Camp&Cruise Posted September 18, 2011 #71 Share Posted September 18, 2011 Do you by chance know if it is an option on the Ecstasy to order off the "steakhouse menu" for an additional charge? I know this was being tested on some ships without steakhouse restaurants.

Meyer2 Posted September 19, 2011 Author #73 Share Posted September 19, 2011 Thanks everyone. Sorry for the delay, we went out-of-town Friday afternoon & I ran out of time to post some more before we left. :o I'm going to be doing a big chunk of the review tomorrow morning. I appreciate all the comments, I like trying to do a decent review. :) Do you by chance know if it is an option on the Ecstasy to order off the "steakhouse menu" for an additional charge? I know this was being tested on some ships without steakhouse restaurants. It wasn't while we were there. I don't know if I would have done it anyways, mom & I really enjoyed the new menu selections for each night. ***Edit*** I just upgraded my Photobucket account, so I'll be ready to go in the morning!!! Thanks for being patient.
