I'm waiting, too. He's obviously new to Carnival so we'll have to wait for a Miracle cruiser to come back and report. I have a bunch of friends sailing her on Tues, so I will see what they have to say. I was able to find some stuff of his on YouTube, but it's not piano bar type of music...

Hey,

Just got off the Miracle. Brennan was a lovely young man (24) and very talented but the music he played was depressing and he wasn't very engaging.

Hey Laurie! Thanks for the update...sad as it may be. Really wished we could have sailed with all of you...I know we missed a good time! Hugs to you and Rick:)

Just of the Inspiration and OMG, SETH is outstanding!!! He engages the audience, he's so charismatic and friendly! His voice is so beautiful and his piano skills are crazy good. He did Great Balls of Fire at our request and it BLEW me away!!!

The cherry on the sundae? He is hot, hot, HOT! Seriously, very, very cute. Oh if I were only 25 and single, LOL! Every night in his bar all the ladies were completely smitten. ;)

Rhapsody in Blue (the piano lounge) is sort of tucked away so make a point to stop by... We were there every single night!

Vince is awesome. Not on Carnival anymore - to much Jager I suspect. lol He's on the Nor. Epic here and there. Would definitely love to have him again playing the piano.

Probably the best we have seen. Seemed to make more in tips than anyone else in the bar so wonder what the reason he left Carnival.

Sean is the entertainer on the Freedom until mid July.

He is an older gentleman from New Orleans, and has played with and opened for many stars, Barry Manilow, Bette Midler, Liberace and more.

Not quite the Carnival type of player, but he's brand new to this venue.

Very talented on the keys and vocals, but plays slower than many of you are used to.

He also talks quite a bit.

Does have an outgoing personality, so perhaps he will improve with experience with Carnival.

The pb is not very busy, and I hope they bring that to his attention.

On another note, the Freedom has more live entertainment otherwise than the Dream did, Latin band, the singer in the Casino is great, and they do have a Lido band again!

Thank you for posting! I'm so glad there is a piano player on the Freedom LOL.. I saw the blank.. and was hoping someone would be on board!! I sail 3/10/12..

Just got off the Legend and wanted to let everyone know about Alan Jackson. Can't say I was terribly impressed. Never witnessed a big crowd in the bar and we popped by most nights, at least to peek in. Alan plays well, but seems to rush through the vocals on most songs and doesn't really engage the audience too much. The best night was when Marcus Anthony made a visit to the piano bar and sang a set. He was wonderful and Alan did fine accompanying him.

I totally agree.. Seth is an amazing musician and performer. It would be heaven if he picked up a contract on the Splendor so that I could see him perform again in November.

Thanks. The website link doesn't work for some reason. Anyone know of him?

Brad gets really good reviews on here! I sailed with him when he was a guest on the Freedom. He covered breaks and such. Really nice/funny guy! I'm pretty sure that you will enjoy him.

Thanks cruisers for the info on Sean on the Freedom.

Not happy to hear he is a little slower.

In reply to other posts: Vince was my favorite also.

Always a fun crowd in the PB. The place was rockin'.

I hope Sean can move in that direction before I sail on 4/21/2012.

Can anyone help with the question marks below?

I would assume, unless there's changes, that Sean will still be there.

He started his 6 month contract Feb 19.

Sorry...maybe he will get better by then...

Anyone know who is currently on the Glory? The schedule ended on the 26th Feb

I'm hoping to find out who is on the Glory, too. We sail on 3/25 and we really enjoyed going to the piano bar on the Liberty last March. We had Brad Alexander then and he was FABULOUS!

From facebook page Carnival Piano Barbarians (via Laura (divetrash):

"Peter Brenner took over the Glory as of 2/26 and will likely be on there for the next 4 to 6 months (I'll have end dates in the next week or so). And Barry Miller took over the Conquest on 3/4. I don't have the Ecstasy yet, as I doubt they do, and November is entirely too far in the future to tell you who is on the Splendor. Cheers y'all!"

Peter Brenner will be on the Glory. If you had Brad, or almost any other entertainer, you will be sadly disappointed
