What is something you do you would never do on land?

Being able to do whatever I want - when I want to do it.

 

Being able to get up and leave a show, bingo, or whatever if I want to or join when i want to.

 

No trying to hunt down a good place for food - there are planty of places to eat!

I eat way much more on a cruise than on land....it's a seafood diet, see more and I eat it.:D

So what do you do on a cruise you would not do on land?:D

 

I disconnect from the outside world and concentrate on the things right around me (ie I turn off the phone and internet)

1. Drink more than two cocktails a week. :D I skip a medication when I cruise that I take weekly that limits me to 2 drinks for the sake of my liver.

2. Gamble, no casinos around here and I don't go to them anywhere else.

3. Eat breakfast twice a day, room service at 6AM, then to the MDR when the wife is awake. :D

 

Oh I forgot...

 

4. DISCONNECT internet, phone, brain, everything...

With the cheapness of wi-fi everywhere on land, i check email, post on FB, etc while on land vacations. With the not-so-cheap and painfully slow wi-fi on cruise ships, I have no problem disconnecting from the internet.

• Attend an art auction. (Come to think of it, I may not ever do that again)
  
• Attend the shows (anything to keep my wife out of the casino for an hour or two)
  
• Go to the disco. I will go to restaurants/bars with live music, etc., but I never go to dance clubs except on a ship.
  
• Watch Sunday/Monday Night Football or a movie in a lounge chair under the stars with a bucket of beer and the ocean breeze.

Sit on the balcony with a cool one and just watch the water go by. :D

I walk around with no purse. No need for keys, cash, wallet, cellphone or anything :)

 

And I had ice cream almost daily.... a whole lot more than I would on land :rolleyes:

Sneak off to my balcony by myself for ME time

Eat food while in my bed at midnight, 1am, 2am, etc...

Hang my breakfast order on my bedroom door each night before I fall asleep..

Swipe my room key when exiting & entering my house..

Put the lid down when I flush the toilet..

throw my towels on the floor..

Drink..whenever I feel like it- I agree something about a cruise and I just think COCKTAIL :) Don't drink much on land so it's very relaxing and enjoyable on the cruise!

 

EAT- and order more than one of whatever I want and eat WHENEVER I want!! **My current motto at home is, Don't eat it now, eat it on the cruise!**

 

GAMBLE! I'm ready for this trip, I've been youtubing "craps" :)

 

NOT CLEAN-..okay well not clean as much :)

Get up in the morning dress my children, leave them in Camp Carnival for the day and head off into port alone. Something I would never do on land is to leave the kids behind!

Bloody Mary's at 8:00, Bud Lite by 10:00, and stay out drinking until early morning hours (since I don't have to worry about the Po Po picking me up for DUI). Having a bill for $300 + for drinks for the week.
