pam vessels Posted November 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2011 :) I have read about this on other boards but have never seen it mentioned on Hal. Has anyone done this on Hal and if so was it fun?
CruiserBruce Posted November 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2011 To my knowledge, HAL doesn't do cabin crawls. However, some roll call groups have done them, primarily by seeing the various cabins the members of the roll call group are assigned.
mllewis48 Posted November 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2011 If you are referring to the above HAL has stopped this apparantly due to some unfortunate issues with past passengers and safety.

azmtnman Posted November 24, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 24, 2011 We CC's organized a cabin crawl last spring. It was VERY interesting. We met and started with the highest floor cabin and worked our way down to the first floor. Johnsons Arizona
Shmoo here Posted November 24, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 24, 2011 We had a cabin crawl on our WBTA cruise on DCL last year. We (DH & I) started at the lower decks and went up, because we were on the lower deck. However, everyone in our group had the list of cabins available, so you could start anywhere along the list and go whichever direction worked best for you. :)
sail7seas Posted November 24, 2011 #8 Share Posted November 24, 2011 Groups can organize their own pub crawl or cabin crawl but HAL does not sponsor pub crawls any longer. You're free to organize your own.
Bodger Posted November 25, 2011 #9 Share Posted November 25, 2011 On our last cruise, the future cruise representative suggested taking a look at any of the cabins on disembarkation morning. The sheets may be off of the bed and the towels gone, but you can get an idea of how the other half lives. Bodger

jdvmd Posted November 25, 2011 #11 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Cabin crawls are a lot of fun. Someone organizes getting hosts to show their cabins. We always travel as a group to each cabin, spending only a few minutes in each. We also limit how many people from the roll call can participate. Start with a logical route and tray to go from the smallest cabin and work up to the biggest. We have also incorporated a game of poker, souveniers from the host's home area and/or drinks/treats from home area.
