Margarita question

I've mostly done frozen drinks but I was wondering if there was any place that could make a RASPBERRY margarita on board. Im going in the Liberty and even with the new Tequila bar im reading the menu and nothing suggests they have ingrediants for anything that has a raspberry flavor. Are there any other kinds of drinks with raspberry so they can use it in a margarita?

If they have Chambord liqour they can make you one

Well that's something I've never tried!!! I love a vodka, chambord, and cranberry martini....but I never thought to mix it into a margarita! Thanks for the idea :)

They sometimes have a margarita happy hour along the Promenade, with a multitude of flavors. I'm sure the bars will make one on request!

They had this one day on the Lido deck on the Legend. There were over 10 flavors of Margaritas and they were not priced too bad either. I had the Banana Margarita and OMG was it good !!!! When we were on the Inspiration last Oct, I did not see this offered. I also do not remember if it was listed in the FunTimes or not. Definetly worth it if it's offered.

****** Also here is a heads-up. When we boarded the ship last Oct my husband ordered a Margarita from one of the Lido waiters. When we checked our S&S slip, he was charged for the Ultimate Top Shelf Margarita not just a regular Margarita like he ordered. It was $11.95 !!! So if you order one on the Lido deck, make sure they are not trying to upsell you for something that you did not order. We should have caught the mistake when we signed but after waiting 20 minutes for him to get our drinks to us, we just went with it and learned a lesson for next time.

Alchemy Bar indeed has this, they could make one on the rocks, but not frozen.

I don't recall a Margarita night .. and trust me if there was one I would have found it. :D

Right? My last two cruises def did NOT have a Marg night. I prefer mine on the rocks anyways!!! However in the case of raspberry, I do prefer sugar on the rim instead of salt!

It's not necessarily at night. The flavored Margaritas that we had were by the Lido pool in the afternoon on one of the sea days. (this was on the Legend) I do not remember if it was in the FunTimes but we found out about it by way of word-of-mouth from one of the pool waiters that were bringing around trays of the different flavored Margaritas and offering them to the passengers. They were in those regular plastic cups not a fancy souviner cup and they really were not that expensive. If you walked up to one of the bars, they had the entire flavor selections on display. There had to be at least 10 of them. I was really in awe. I had the Banana one and, my husband being the creature of habit that he is, just had the lime one. I imagine that they sold a boatload of them around the pool on seaday.

Maybe just ask a Lido bartender if they will be offering this and when.

On my last few cruises they always had a "Margarita Night" as well as a "Sangria Night" and a "Martini Night". On the Conquest class ships I have sailed on these were always held in the casino in the evenings from about 5 to 8. Raspberry margaritas were definitely one of the choices cause I had a few of them. These occasions were listed in the Fun Times on the back page under the dining/drinking section.

For all the ULTIMATE drinks, take the receipt to the casino cashier's cage and you can get a $5 chip.

They can do that as well at the Alchemy bar. :D The Alchemists sidecar is sugar rimmed, so the fixins are all there. The bartenders had no problem mixing up something not quite on the menu for us.

siiigh. I miss those guys. LOL
