The Browns?? Are they, like, a married CD couple or something?

How cool would that be!

 

Yes, they are married. He's the cruise director and she's the activities manager. They are a team wherever they go - a really great team for the record. And they are going home for 6 weeks for Christmas. They'll be back on Radiance until the first Alaska when Paul takes over again.

Two questions...who is the Susan from Scotland that is coming to the Majesty? I will be onboard in January and never heard of her.

 

Also, any news where or what happened to Dave Chapman?

 

I have no idea who Susan is. lol Here's the original post that contains the info:

 

Donna -- just off the Majesty this morning after a "toss and tumble" night thanx to Hurricane Sandy.

 

Dave is scheduled to leave on Nov 22 and Mitch fills in for 2 months and then Susan from Scotland is scheduled to arrive -- but you know nothing is for sure until it happens.

 

 

Dave is on his break now. His last assignment was Majesty from July 16 to November 22. I have no info on where he will be assigned when he returns. (A break is typically 2 months)

Donna, Drew Devine will be on the Freedom from January 6th until March 3rd, when he's going on vacation. No clue who will be there after that. If anyone knows, I'd love to hear it.

 

Adventure OTS - Drew Devine October 28 until January 6, then Anthony Richards

 

Allure OTS - Ken Rush started October 28. (until when?)

 

Brilliance OTS - Paul Lancaster started September 21 until the end of January

 

Enchantment OTS - Luke Aerosmith started Nov 1. John Blair is due back on Jan 14. *Marc Walker expects to join Enchantment on June 3, 2013 for 3 and 4 day cruises out of Port Canaveral per his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cruis...609?ref=stream

 

Explorer OTS - Leigh Xuereb November 24 until February 1st to cover Richard Spacey's break. Richard will return on February 1st. At that point, Leigh expects to be transferred to another (unknown) ship as their CD.

 

Freedom OTS - Graham Seymour September 30 through January 6, then Drew Devine January 6 though March 3.

 

Grandeur OTS - Rico du Breil started Oct 26 (until when?) Jimmy Rhodes starts April 21 in Baltimore, and this will be his regular ship for a few contracts.

 

Independence OTS - Joff Eaton started November 22 until sometime in March

 

Jewel OTS - Steve Davis started Nov 19. Dennis Charles (Dennis Sciortino) is returning from his break on Jan 5 until sometime in March, and again from July to Sept (exact dates needed) and will be alternating with Carly Boileau (March through July, and again in Sept).

 

Legend OTS - Dan Whitney started August 21 (until when?)

 

Liberty OTS - Rich Edwards Nov 15 until January 5th

 

Majesty OTS - Mitch Merucci started Nov 22 for 2 months (exact end date?), then Susan from Scotland is scheduled to be the CD.

 

Mariner OTS - Carly Boileau until Feb 10 then Steve Davis Feb.10 - May 6th

 

Monarch OTS - Marc Walker Nov. 16 until April 1 when Monarch leaves the fleet.

 

Navigator OTS - Jimmy Rhodes started Nov 3 until Jan 19, then Simona Ferraiuolo from Jan 19 until March 30, then Keith Williams March 30 through April 21

 

Oasis OTS - Amy Fickert started December 1. Ricky Matthews will be back to cover Amy's break (exact date unknown, but Ricky will be on Rhapsody until March 11, so it's sometime after that depending on if he is going straight to Oasis or taking a short break in between ships)

 

Radiance OTS - Bobby and Becky Brown started on Aug 31 until mid-December. (They are going home for 6 weeks over Christmas/New Years) Paul Rutter for the Alaska season, May through Sept.

 

Rhapsody OTS - Casey Pelter started July 20 until January 7, then Ricky Matthews January 7 through March 11. Graham Seymour for the Alaska season.

 

Serenade OTS - Ken Jones Dec 14 until Jan 28. James Andrews will return Jan 28 until most likely the repo back to the Med for the summer. Ken is likely doing the repositioning on that date .

 

Splendour OTS - Bill Brunkhorst *João Pereira returns for the fall/winter season in South America (Dec 9th?)

 

Vision OTS - Keith Williams started Sept 14 until Jan 14

 

Voyager OTS - Gordon Whatman 27th September until January 24th 2013, then Graham Seymour for 2 months. (exact changeover date needs confirming, as Graham is coming over from Freedom on January 6).

We thought that Graham had posted that he would be on Freedom from April 7 - July 28????? What happened? We were looking forward to having him as our cruise director in May, 2013.

 

It seems he was reassigned to Voyager, then Rhapsody

Sailing on EOS in March 2013....Will richard spacey be back on board by then? Hope so....he is fantastic. :)

 

 

He's supposed to be back February 1st. His contracts are usually 4 months long. So, he'll probably be there in March. (Unless something changes...)

I sure hope he will. I will be on the march 15/2013 cruise. We had him as cruise director on the ship Voyager of the seas. He is the best cruise director we ever had on all our cruises. so keeping our fingers crossed he will be our cruise director.

Hi everyome

Just to confirm the rumours are true I leave Freedom Jan 6th and do Gordon's fill on Voyager I get there Jan 8th for a 4/5 day handover and I am there until March 23rd (Singapore)

 

Then my new home will be Rhapsody Handover May 24th which I am looking forward to very much Alaska in the summer Australia in the winter

 

Had a great time on freedom and honoured to work with some managers there

 

But that is ships life' date=' you sign to the company not a ship and they go where required

 

Bex sadly hurt her back and has been home since Nov 2nd so they reckon another 3-6 weeks to recover Boo Hiss Boo !!

Hmmm...There seems to be a gap here! I saw Graham's post saying he was on board May 24th, but does anyone know who he's taking over for?

Voyager OTS - Gordon Whatman 27th September until January 8th 2013, then Graham Seymour until March 23rd to fill-in for Gordon's break.

 

I've heard that Gordon Whatman is a great CD. Can anyone tell me what Graham Seymore is like? Looks like they're swapping on the first port day of our cruise!! Only 2 weeks to go until embarkation!! Very excited!!
