Mulligan FOS review 2/26-3/04 with pics

One thing Jeff forgot to mention was that neither of us had ever been to a casino before.......so......we had to try it! :D

We sit down and each of us put $15 dollars in a slot machine.....and

Ticket Void after 30 Days! Huh! I bet it didn't take me 30 seconds to cash it! :D

We went back later in the week and put $6 in and won $31! I can see how easy it would be to go broke in there fast. It was so fun, just like playing a game...

We did play other times and not win but all in all we came out ahead.! We had to go in there with very little cash in our pocket so we couldn't spend more than we had with us!

Thanks so much for sharing your cruise with us! The pictures are awesome. We are sailing on the FOS in December and was thinking of taking Bernard's Tours. After reading your review I am sure we will now. So happy you had a wonderful time. Happy Belated Anniversary!

The tour was from 8:30 till about 3:00pm for $40 each. It was very informative and it was well worth every penny. You wont be disappointed. Have a great time. It will be here before you know it. I am glad we didn't drive. The traffic was horrible. A motorcycle wreck on one side of the mountain and a bridge opening for sail boats on the other.

Great review and photos. Thank you. And thank you both for telling me how to get to the helipad. Is there a guess shop on board? I thought i could see one in your photos?

Oh yes! :( My 15 year old daughter found out about it before we left and....

Is it a similar price to your guess stores on land? I love Guess and now i am v excited! I thought it was only allure that had Guess! Glad you liked Bernard tours, we have used him twice and rwally enjoyed the personal attention he gives. Especially the sea urchins.

From what we were told it is comparable with prices on land however you don't have to pay tax on it which helps! Plus the guy who rang me up had a wonderful accent!

Thank you Cindy - do they have clothes and purses? Just judging how much space to leave in my luggage. We went on Disney Magic last year and Serenade of the Seas the year before so I am soooo looking forward to a promenade again! :o

Well we have arrived at the part of the review I have been looking so forward to sharing with everyone. You have to understand, Cindy and I have never done anything comparable to this cruise. Going to Disney has been our biggest vacation and Chicago the furthest from home we have ever been. Never set foot out of the USA. So yes this was a very big deal for us. We read C.C. reviews and advise for the past year. We were so worried about missing the ship if we didn't take a RCI excursion and were late back to port. But there was one name that kept coming up on here for a St Marteen tour and that was Bernards Tours. See, the one thing that I had to see on this whole cruise, I could not miss, was Maho Beach. RCI does not offer a excursion there. So after a lot of worried thought we entrusted this once in a life time moment to a total stranger. ( maybe I am being a little melodramatic but it was that important to us ) Without even requiring a deposit, we were just told to meet at the statue at the yellow building at the end of the pier at 8:30am that morning.

I'm on FOTS in April and I will defiantly look into his tours. Its funny how the small things go a long way. I will also tell our group about Bernard. Any idea about the cost of his private tours ??

I'm on in April too and I have already booked this tour. It makes me so happy to hear how well he treated you. :)

BLAMBKY, the hot dog at JR was as good as it looked in the picture. Total comfort food! You will have a great time if you take Bernards Tours and Maho Beach is something to see.

Thanks for bumping this, I'd not seen it previously.

You should try dining room on your next cruise, it's fun. The waiters can be hysterical.

I saw alot of questions about the FOS on the main page so I thought it might answer a few of the questions.

And we do plan to use the dining room on the Jewel. We have heard great things about the experience. We will let you know when we get back, with pictures of course! :D

You will love Bernard! He is absolutely a wonderful guy and really cares about his tours and the people on them. And Temo, our guide was really informative about the island and comical too! :D If you are not a regular drinker please beware of the Rum Punch! It was good but it definitely packs a PUNCH! :D Have a great time!

Thanks for reviving this link. First timers departing on Sunday!!

albones456, We were first timers as well and believe me I don't care how many pictures you look at before you go, they just don't compare to seeing her in person! We were totally in awe! So take your time and look around every corner, she is just beautiful!

Have a great trip!
