sfvoyage Posted April 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2012 How do the gyms on the smaller ships compare to those on the bigger ships? Are they equally well-equipped and spacious? What about the selection of free group exercise/yoga/tai chi classes?

LEESRE Posted April 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2012 Is there a free sauna on the "Little Sisters" also or just the ones you pay for. Thanks
Host Dan Posted April 15, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2012 There is a free sauna, and although the gym is small, it is far from "smelly". Just dont raise the incline on the treadmills, you may hit your head on the low ceiling. Had many a fine workout and sauna in the little sisters facilities.. Mr Luxury Posted April 16, 2012 #8 Share Posted April 16, 2012 small, dated, contentious and smelly. If you say so,I'll watch out for you if you ever go on a ship.
emilee Posted April 16, 2012 #9 Share Posted April 16, 2012 We used the gym all the time - it is fine. Although small, we have never waited for a machine. Less people on the ship so it is basically to scale.
EmsMom Posted April 19, 2012 #10 Share Posted April 19, 2012 We found the gym on the Pride to be adequate and didn't notice any odor. The yoga/Pilates classes were great but not well attended. The gym was never crowded so the size didn't matter.
KaraokeQueen Posted April 20, 2012 #11 Share Posted April 20, 2012 I ran every day on the treadmills. There always seemed to be malfunctions on the machine electronics. The Spa staff's solution was to unplug and restart. It didn't make any difference. In a 16 day segment, there were always a couple of machines out of order but the machines were never marked. The room was always tidy but, they were often out of towels, tissue, and water. On a positive, nice view!
