i know a few people took advantage of the upgrade fairy!! Btw is Mothers the one two blocks up from Harrahs?

 

 

YES!!....here's a link..it's like a 100 years old and I always eat there when I go..Have been known to eat there one day and back the next morning for breakfast. :)

Randy I just got a call from Crucon that we will be receiving our OBC in a check AFTER we return from the cruise. WTH!!!

 

Yep.....it's not Crucon's fault.....it IS a new Carnival rule.:(

 

Here's what I got this am when I asked and I also asked about our shared cocktail party.

 

 

"Since Carnival has changed their policy regarding the onboard credit, they will no longer allow agencies to apply onboard credit to the passengers onboard expense account. Our accounting department will be mailing the check directly to you (for the amount of ship board credit that you are set to receive), during the cruise so you should have it by the time you return home.

I also spoke to the event coordinator for the Sunshine and was advised that you will receive a notice in your stateroom regarding the time and location of the cocktail party."

Well I just printed my packing list to see if there is anything I need to go purchase...It just dawned on me that we have to be packed before bed tomorrow night!!!:D

 

ALSO, I booked out FIRST excursion in New Orleans....After pleading for 2 days to them and they saying they were sold out....we just got tickets for sat afternoon to go backstage and feed and play with the penguins at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas a block or two from the hotel!!!:D

 

My wife just said this will be her fav part of the cruise.:D

Hi,

Arleen & Steve from Georgetown TX. This cruise replaces the Triumph that we were bumped from when they had their "issues". Looking forward to warming up as we just got home from a family visit in Michigan.

Fairly new to Cruise Critic & noticed that there is no "link" to Carnival for Meet & Mingle. Did I miss something?

PS Packed & Ready! Staying at Ramada in Metairie ( they will keep our car for the week & take us to the ship).
