Does anyone know how Princess handled people transferring over to another ship on Disembarkation day? We are doing the Princess Coastal next May and disembarking Princess for a Holland Alaska cruise the same day. Is there a comfortable place to wait with luggage?:confused:

Try and be one of the last off. That will mean you will spend less time with your luggage. Usually the ships will not accept new luggage until the porters are done escorting the disembarking passengers. Nonetheless, you have a good chance of being one of the first to board the second ship (as you'll be fairly early).

Since you are not transferring to another Princess ship, as far as Princess is concerned this is a normal disembarkation for you.

 

So, follow Cuizer2's advice.

Yes - we have the same cabin for 3 weeks. I booked the 2 Alaska legs about a year ago and added the coastal about 2 months ago and couldn't get my cabin but eventually it became available. So thankfully we don't have to move cabins.
