Sun princess - looking for an agent!

I am currently looking at Sun Princess, World Cruise Sector, New York to LA. Going from NY on 21 July 2012. Does anyone know of an agent who is offering a "group booking" for this sector. It means the difference of £1,000's if you can find one. Otherwise it is much cheaper to do Dover to LA!!!! Thanks:)

Sorry but we are not allowed to name agents here on cruisecrtitic. But I would say call the big online companies. You will find the names of some here. They book a block of cabins for their customers, and many haven't booked a cruise yet. So there are times when they have left over cabins they must sell. RCCL& Carnival do not allow agents to sell anything for less than their prices so agents may giveOBC or something to get customers. All you can do is call agents and compare different agents. You don't have to book with the 1st one you call, keep 'shopping' until you find the price you want.

Also check with friends or others you know who cruise to see if they have any idea.

Princess website in the US has a link to find an agent. Assume it is the same in the UK...just call around and ask if they have any groups going. EM

You will just have to check with any online "discount" agents you can find. From my experience, they are out there, you just have to dig thru the worthless ones to find the good ones.

"Very important" is an understatement. The CC is a for profit business, apparently associated with a travel agency. Promoting the competition doesn't go over well. None of us want to see you get started on the wrong foot by receiving a "reminder" :rolleyes: from the Administration. I know you came here looking for help, but as the others have said, we can't help you with this.
