What about the 3D theater.

How often are the shows?

Are there different shows?

Is it included in the cruise price?

With the Thrill Theater, guests will enjoy an exhilarating, multi-dimensional experience that will make them feel like they are actually in the movie. The theater combines a high-definition 3D projection system with 4D elements such as squirting water and bubbles, and original special effects that will tickle guests’ legs, blow air on their necks and poke them in their seats. Seats within the theater will shift back and forth, move from side to side and also vibrate, creating an exciting ‘fifth-dimensional’ element. Guests will receive special 3D glasses that deliver a truly immersive movie-going experience.

Space

· Twenty-four seat theater with high-def 3D projection system, strobe lights, smoke/fog machine and bubble machine

· Special effects include: Lag tickle, neck air, seat poke, water squirt, seat vibration, seat motion (up, down, pitch back and forward)

· What make this theater 5D?

Ø 3D=3D movie

Ø 4D=3D movie + special effects

Ø 5D=3D movie + special effects + motion

Entertainment

· Movies will be approximately 15 minutes long

· Cover Charge: FYI …’We anticipate that there will be a nominal charge for the 5D Theater experience however the amount is still being determined.’

· Programming

Ø Happy Feet 4-D Experience

Ø Speed Racer 4-D Adventure

Ø The Polar Express 4-D Experience (holiday season only)

From JH's blog:

"the price for each performance is $7.95 but there will be a special price of $14.95 for the 12 days which is an unlimited pass. We have 7 different main features with a different short feature which means each performance lasts 25 minutes or so"

True it is the 15th but most that post here have to travel home and with jet lag.....

What I always do when I fly to a place with a different time zone is that I will wait till around 10 pm to go to bed.

Of course you will feel a bit tired and will have to fight some sleep during the day, but the next day you are fit and can start enjoying your vacation. It works perfectly fine for me!

Fish N Chips are only loated on the Conquest, Glory, Valor, Liberty and Freedom unfortunately the Breeze does not have it.

OOOHHHHH! We will spending 14 days on the Freedom in starting Aug 25th and also like Fish & Chips! Sorry to hijack the thread, but we will be on the Breeze in Oct for the Med cruise and then back to Miami on TA. So, the new stuff is of interest.

When we flew over to Rome for a cruise on the Liberty way back when, the hardest thing was getting on Rome time. It was a red eye over and I so wanted to just go to bed. Much easier once we adjusted tho......

We have friends on the ship and we face time'd them on Sunday. They were very pleased with the ship and all of the new stuff. Said there were a couple of technology issues (much like they had with the Dream and Magic on their first sailing) an dthere was a scheduling conflict in Livorno as the only dock that could support the Breeze had a commercial ship there and they were either going to skip or flip flop some ports. They loved the interior design changes.

I am sailing on July 21. I am beyond excited. Does anyone know how many formal nights on that sailing?

I read yesterday, that cruise's of more than 10 nights have 3 formal nights.

I am sailing August 2nd and thanks for the thread, this is great info! :D

Can anyone explain what the 'cove' balconies are and what are the advantages of booking one over the regular balconies? Where are they found on the deck plans/what category? Are they large or small...sleeps how many? Are there any pics out there any place? (I realize maybe not for the Breeze but just to give me an idea)

I see you already received descriptions of the cove balconies. We had 1 on the Dream and enjoyed it so much we booked 2 for the Breeze (in 2 weeks.) The cove balcony is also a bit larger than the regular balconies.

We liked being close to the water too.

Some of us love the singing waiters! We were on the Dream a couple weeks ago and looked forward to the nights of singing and dancing in the dining room. Our waiter, a tiny lady from Thailand, would really get into the dancing and was great fun. I guess you can avoid it by going to the specialty restaurants or eating in the buffet.

We'll be on the Breeze transatlantic and can't wait to see what they've done with the ship decor.

Do you happen to remember the name of your waitstaff person who was from Thailand? We were on the Dream a while back and I am wondering if it was the same person. She was very good!

That was not true in the past nor true from what our friends thought before going on the cruise. I will get an update over the weekend and post the answer.

I believe the 8 night as well as the 6 night will have 2 formal nights.

your signatures caught my 'disney' eye;). we were going to book the January 3 night DCL members cruise but DH can't get the last day off work:(. Plan B is to pick one from 5 cruises I've narrowed down, one being the Breeze you're booked upon. I was hoping to find something out of Port Canaveral (no half moon cay stop for our dates:eek:) figure we'll forego combining the parks with a cruise that trip (wah lol)

anyway, just curious how you (or anybody else booked on the Breeze 6 night out of MIA) feel about the 3 sea days on the itinerary. We like port days and even with more bells and whistles on new ship not sure how we'll feel about the 3rd sea day (i'm not a spa sorta gal and afraid the extra time on my hands will draw me to the casino more).

imo less than $15 for 7 days' worth of this sort of special movies is great, but i hope it's not unlimited or people might just plant it for hours...wonder if you have to 'reserve' or can tix for a specific show.

Hey, yep, huge WDW fan here:p If I had to chose between a cruise or my annual BELOVED WDW trip, Disney would win!

We purposely chose this cruise for the 3 sea days! BECAUSE of it being a new ship with so much to experience & enjoy, we are excited for the sea days!!

I have my budget for the casino and when it is gone it is gone:(

I do imagine they will have some sort of system in place to keep folks form monopolizing the thrill theatre, I hope!

Enjoy whatever you chose, but I don't think you could go wrong with the Breeze cruise!

thanx for the quick reply! I'm still digging around but the rates are sooo attractive on this sailing, hard to resist.:)

looking forward to reports from the early cruisers!

Boooooook it! You know you want to:D

If tons of positive reviews start flooding in, the price could start creeping up as bookings increase, food for thought...
