DaveOKC Posted August 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2012 I have been waiting for HAL's one week sale to end to check the regular price (long story why). Anyway, its been over a week now and it still shows up. Cannot find an end date on the promotion. DaveOKC
CtheW0rld Posted August 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2012 truth-in-advertising is not any cruiseline's strong suit.
kcscrapper Posted August 20, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2012 Try "refreshing" the page -- you may be loading from cache. That's what I've read to do in any case:o
iancal Posted August 20, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2012 I don't know but based on the emails and the junk snail mail that I get from HAL and others, I would say that HAL has been having a sale for the past two years. Well...at least it has the appearance of being a sale. It reminds me of Sears...when is there not a sale?
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2012 Guess the week long sale will last until HAL gets all the ships filled up for all itineraries -- which means that it will never end.

DaveOKC Initially, I thought this was one of those trick questions like: "How long was the Hundred Years War". Or maybe: "What time does midnight mass start" or "Who is buried in Grant's Tomb"? I think though the answer to your question is forever. The one week sale goes on in perpetuity.

It is a one week sale. One week at a time, one after the other. :p
KirkNC Posted August 20, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 20, 2012 Its like a sale on cars, they never end.
cruising cockroach Posted August 20, 2012 #9 Share Posted August 20, 2012 How about private sales? Do they just tend to go on too?
cruz chic Posted August 21, 2012 #10 Share Posted August 21, 2012 OP, I think the one week sale might (?) be over. I noticed my Nov cruise price is higher this morning.

I had the same thought "What time is the midnight buffet?" Shows how long I have been cruising - most lines stopped having a midnight buffet (which was usually at 11:30) years ago. cruising cockroach Posted August 22, 2012 #14 Share Posted August 22, 2012 In my case, private sales seem to expire after the date of expiry. Glad I booked though now to see if anything else comes along.
