sail7seas Posted September 10, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2012 As mentioned, you might have a small cake. The days of lots of celebration and treats for special events are gone for most. On most cruises, you'll find lots of people are celebrating one thing or another..... brithdays, anniversaries, graduation, honeymoons, surviving serious illness etc Have you TA mention it is a special anniversary anyway. :) Have a great cruise. Krazy Kruizers Posted September 10, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Happy Anniversary!! Once on the ship -- mention to the dining room manager that you are celebrating your anniversary. You might even consider eating at one of the speciality restaurants.
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 10, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2012 How wonderful to celebrate your anniversary on the ship. Yes, let them know and they can have a cake for you. Keith
Bonnie J. Posted September 10, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 10, 2012 On some lines the cakes are gone. they put a candle in your desert and the waiters do still sing to you.
paul929207 Posted September 10, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 10, 2012 In addition to a cake, Princess will put a sign and three balloons on your cabin door.
sail7seas Posted September 10, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 10, 2012 You may wish to look into a Renewal of Vows if it interests you. Some of the ships/cruise lines do a lovely job with those ceremonies.

RoofingPrincess Posted September 12, 2012 #11 Share Posted September 12, 2012 There are no special fares for honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. As to whether the cruise line will do something special for you, it depends on the line. Some will still do something at no extra charge (like a sign on the cabin door or a cake in the dining room); on other lines, decorations and cakes are an extra charge, but if you let your waitstaff know, they will put a little decoration on your dessert and sing to you as it's presented.
