LyndaKroooze Posted September 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Will be on the Carnival Freedom in January. DH and I are HUGE Beatles fans and are hoping the Ticket to Ride show will still be on board. Does anyone know how long that show will run? TIA
cruiseguyforever Posted September 17, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Carnival never changes the shows. It would cost to much to change and that will not happen. Maybe after 10 years or until the last Beatle dies.

dmc6469 Posted September 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2012 My sister isn't a big fan of the Beatles but maybe I can talk her into going to this show
jwalk03 Posted September 17, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2012 It was still there in April when I was on board Freedom. And even though the Beatles are not my generation's music the show WAS very good. The best of any of the Main Theather productions on Freedom. Not technically my generation either (DH and I are early 40's) but the Beatles are TIMELESS..
mrpayroll Posted September 17, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Looking forward to seeing it AGAIN in November. :) Get there early as they show clips of the Beatles performing prior to the actual show.
lovestocruise19 Posted September 17, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2012 I watched the Ticket to Ride show on the Freedom on my honeymoon cruise May 27-June 2. The show was amazing! You don't have to be a huge Beatles fan to enjoy it. My favorite aspects were the lighting techniques they used! They had laser beam type lights drawing images on the stage which were so cool! They even passed out glow sticks to the audience and dropped confetti. It was the best show I've seen so far on a cruise.

SkyMaster Posted September 17, 2012 #12 Share Posted September 17, 2012 I too, have to agree that "Ticket To Ride" is probably the best production show on any Carnival Ship. I've seen it multiple times as well, but ALWAYS enjoy it. Lots, and lots of FUN! "SKY"

kah1829 Posted September 18, 2012 #18 Share Posted September 18, 2012 We are going on the Freedom in December our first ever cruise! Can you bring (well behaved and a little older) kids to the show? Or is it adults only? Our older son I think would really like it. Thank you!!!

bshow Posted September 18, 2012 #20 Share Posted September 18, 2012 Can you bring (well behaved and a little older) kids to the show? You can even bring rotten, ill-mannered ones. :) Seriously, enjoy your cruise!

spideyfam Posted September 18, 2012 #22 Share Posted September 18, 2012 LOL - oh no! not Paul!!!! I think Ringo will be the last to go. The Ticket To Ride show is my favorite out of all of the shows.
ccruisequeen Posted September 18, 2012 #23 Share Posted September 18, 2012 I wish they would add it to the West Coast ships- we need some new blood! The Beatles costumes they use in Ticket to Ride were used in another show then the segment was dropped when Ticket to Ride was created. We get a Latin based show on Inspiration. I don't know any of the music and can't relate. I love the Beatles!
abisha Posted September 18, 2012 #24 Share Posted September 18, 2012 The show is well done and has some fun effects. It's for the entire family. During the welcome aboard show, the CD said Carnival prides itself in saying that this show is the best of all shows in their entire fleet and so much work had gone into this production. I haven't seen all of their shows so I cannot comment on it, but it was definitely worth seeing. We really loved the finally...it'll have you up and singing along. I was hoping to see it again on Valor a couple of weeks ago but no such luck. :(
