Lil Davy Posted September 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2012 We are sailing this Saturday on the Oasis and I just finished printing my paper luggage tags on my home printer. I then checked the mail to find an envelope from RCL. Inside were official luggage tags for our sailing. I was surprised to receive them to say the least. Maybe RCL has received enough complaints about the "new" tags and has reverted back to the old way.

cruisenfever Posted September 25, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 25, 2012 if you are platinum c+a You will get tags in mail Did that change since August 16th? Was under the impression that RCI was only issuing luggage tags to Suite Guests and PC Members.
vondofife Posted September 25, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 25, 2012 They are ... on all sailings departing on, or after, 1st October 2012
CruisinDawn Posted September 25, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Diamond Plus + in a suite = No tags for me :( TA said he ordered them twice but I am not having much faith in him these days let alone Royal. Made my own but would much rather have theirs since I use them for other things like to stick to the bottom of my camera or something else that might get left somewhere by mistake. mmp13 Posted September 25, 2012 #10 Share Posted September 25, 2012 sorry confused, supposedly only suite and very high crown and anchor society members are supposed to receive tags in mail.
ARCruisinNana Posted September 25, 2012 #11 Share Posted September 25, 2012 RCCL is rolling out the program at different times for different ships. For ships still sailing in Europe, for the most part, luggage tags can still be ordered. I received my luggage tags for the Nov. 2 sailing on Mariner. They are not available for the Nov. 18 sailing on Mariner which is the first domestic departure. So, for some ships, luggage tags are still available to order even for those not in a GS or above or Pinnacle Club member.

Lil Davy Posted September 26, 2012 Author #14 Share Posted September 26, 2012 sorry confused, supposedly only suite and very high crown and anchor society members are supposed to receive tags in mail. So then what qualifies as a "High C&A Society Member". I'm only Platinum...and not booked in a suite.

Lil Davy Posted September 26, 2012 Author #16 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Pinnacle only. By that account then I shouldn't have received any tags from RCL then... maybe I'm just special :)
Aquahound Posted September 26, 2012 #17 Share Posted September 26, 2012 By that account then I shouldn't have received any tags from RCL then... maybe I'm just special :) As another poster said, this program isn't being rolled out fleet wide immediately. RCI is still offering them on some ships.
roboref Posted September 26, 2012 #18 Share Posted September 26, 2012 We got tags for an inside room on Vision for October 5, 2012 and then upgraded to an outside cabin and re-ordered luggage tags and have since received them.
