jthomp04 Posted April 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Just wondering what everyone's favorite ship is? I am curious to find this out, because I have heard so many good things about all the ships. -Tropicale -Jubilee -Elation
mii Posted April 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2004 We usually sail Princess and it is very hard to rate the ships. I have been on big and little ones. The only thing that I can say is whatever ship that I am on I am happy as I am cruising. Marilyn
snshn3 Posted April 26, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2004 We went on the Tropicale a few years ago, I think is retired now. I remember it was really old, but for our first cruise it was perfect. I really like Enchantment of the Seas, gorgeous!

JanetMarie Posted April 27, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 27, 2004 After many cruises, our fav line is Princess, afterall, it's the "love boat!" Mark Posted April 27, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 27, 2004 RCCL Monarch of the Seas...it has the traditional lines of a sleek ocean liner and does not look like a floating refrigerator! The accomodations, facilities and service are all just right. Size is just right...just big enough for comfort...and of course the RCCL quality which is in a league above Carnival. momofmeg Posted April 27, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 27, 2004 Carnival Tropicale was my first cruise and I loved her. ofcourse I had nothing to compare her to. I always tell friends who never cruised-take an older less expensive ship the first cruise-you will still love cruising and that way if you take an older ship later after taking a new great ship you will know what to expect and won't be disapointed. Miracle is my fav. ship now. If I could afford to I would always take a brand new ship cruising. But as I said I can have a wonderful time cruising no matter the ship. Before Miracle- the old Pacific Princess the "love boat" was my favorite ship for nostaligia alone. The most beautifult ship I have been on was HAL Statendam-but I hated that line-even if the ship was beautiful with priceless antiques. luv2cruise450 Posted May 1, 2004 #12 Share Posted May 1, 2004 We've enjoyed all the ships that we've been fortunate enough to sail with but my very favorite ship so far is HAL's MS Amsterdam...she's a beautiful, elegant and classy ship with a terrific crew and we'd love to sail with her again one day! CruisFran Posted May 2, 2004 #14 Share Posted May 2, 2004 Don't really have a favorite ship...but do have a soft place in my heart for the ole Celebrity Meridian!! Sailed her '92, '93', '94 from Boston. She was a great ship! When she was sold off and later sunk of Malaysia, we felt like we had lost a friend! MaryPoppinz Posted May 3, 2004 #17 Share Posted May 3, 2004 Coral Princess is my favorite ship. I can't even put my finger on why that is...because I've also been on her sister, Island Princess. golflady Posted May 3, 2004 #18 Share Posted May 3, 2004 My favorite ship was "The Norway". We sailed on her 3 times and she was the 1st cruise I went on. My next favorite was "The Century" of the Celebrity line. We usually do 2 cruises per year;therefore,we cruise on Carnival a lot. Because of the price and we always get good upgrades with Carnival. I have never been on a ship that I didn't have a great time. I have never been on a cruise that I didn't have a great time.
