In other development areas, any further word on Tillman Whatsisname's plan to redevelop part of the docks?

 

Pure conjecture but logical .

Where the probable new location of terminal 3 will be,

is also where generally Tilman's proposed development of docks and Boardwalk was to be. Tilman and city could not get together on nature and extent of plans on project and commitment.

BUT It's only logical a joint project with a him or another developer like Mitchell Properties

would be in the works

to help finance the expansion of new terminal and I hope have an eventual connected boardwalk between present and future terminals and docks.

Mitchell Properties owns property in between two areas! Time is ticking

and something is going to happen! When ?

Stewpapa, if you want to wave to the cameras for your family to see you, be sure to go to the galveston.com cruise blog and tell us where you will be at sailaway. We can zoom in on you and watch you wave. The best cam to wave at is on top of the Harbor House Hotel at Pier 21.

 

Or just tell us here if you would like.

The last cruise on NV out of Galveston is Nov 1-8. She will then head to Ft Lauderdale (without passengers) on the 8th. Her first cruise out of FLL is Nov 10. Liberty arrives Nov 13 and will do a 9 night cruise to get back on a Sunday-Sunday schedule.

 

 

Thanks. We will miss her but will be glad to see the Liberty sailing from

Galveston.
