Howdy, Carla! Long time no "see!"

The fog is pretty thick here in Houston...glad it didn't interfere with ship arrivals this morning!:)

Howdy Cindy--how about those Ags!!! Whoop!!

Can't believe it is foggy in Houston, it is absolutely beautiful in Galveston. Bright and sunny skies, not a cloud to be seen. A little chilly, but very little wind. If it stays like this should be a beautiful sail away. Gigem!

You're not kidding about the fog! I woke up early and decided to go pick up some groceries while everyone else was still asleep. Luckily I only had to drive a couple of miles as visibility was probably about 100 feet! It's not much better than that right now and I'm just a few miles south of Hobby Airport.

My first thought when I got out in it was "There are probably going to be some anxious cruisers today".

Glad it worked out for those sailing today.

Howdy again everyone,

as you can tell we booked another cruise out of Galveston.

We got tired of the same old routes,

so we had to go to Carnival, they have a eastern Caribbean itinerary.

Although, I found out that Royal has one out of New Orleans.

Damn, and I booked where we do not get our deposits back.

I wish Carnival CC page had a Texas Cruise Cam thread !- I really Miss all of you.

Maybe we have seen the last of the freezing day time temps?

Beautiful day on the island, in the upper 60's in North Texas....Come on spring, hit us with all your might...ready for the 70's, 80's plus!

Mariner in 70 days...

LOL.... Patience Grasshopper. Old Man winter ain't done with us yet. :)

We just left the Strand and are home,

after dropping off friends at the

terminal for Mariner and some shopping.

It was a little crowded

because Mariner had a mandatory

Coast Guard inspection and cruisers were

told they couldn't board until

after 12:00.

It is a beautiful day in Galveston. :D

All the foggers should be here today.

We won't go home next Sunday though

after going to Strand,

for we will be departing on the Mariner.

What a beautiful day! The cam shows blues skies and a breeze. Wish I was there!

Will be in 8 weeks, but wanna be right now!

Guessing since we had a mild end of January, we will get "surprised" with our annual two day ice storm in February this year....

But as others have said, spring is on its way! and none too soon!

56 days and counting!

Will be on the Mariner last day of March. Am looking forward to it! Hopefully the fog issue will be a non-issue! Makes for a much easier drive from east Texas. Last one a few weeks ago out of New Orleans was a very LONG drive. Anything is better than flying thought.

Friends were off by 7:30 this morning.

We are going to the port about 2pm, letting all the others who must be on board first get settled.

Not a bad idea. Easy when only a couple miles away. I like to head down to be among the first aboard giving myself some time in case we have any issues on drive down.

Yesterday had water pump die in my ranch truck while hauling a huge load. Glad to get fixed on road and keep on going but a few hour delay. Instead of missing ship I give a it of time Justin case similar things happen. Of course truck has twice the miles.

Oh we'll I guess we are six weeks from Spring Break. Hope to visit Galveston before then.
