Rare flannbarr Posted February 22, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2013 The OBC looks better than when getting a next cruise certificate on-board.

PH8 Posted February 22, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted February 22, 2013 It really is geared for new cruisers or those who book insides/oceanviews.

tradercj Posted February 22, 2013 #10 Share Posted February 22, 2013 I don't really understand this restriction: Q: If an option is held without money prior to February 25, 26 & 27 2013 can the guest deposit it on February 25, 26 & 27, 2013 to get the offer. A: The WOW Sale offer can only apply to bookings created, named and deposited on February 25, 26, & 27, 2013. Any existing booking that is cancelled between February 19 and 27, and is rebooked for the same sailing on February 25, 26 & 27, 2013 will not be eligible to receive the WOW offer. So if I didn't put my deposit down yet, why would I do it on a day that I know everyone else is getting OBC. Make no sense to me. Can you book with another travel agent to get the WOW sale then? That restriction applies to someone placing a courtesy hold (option held without money) prior to Feb 25 and then paying the deposit on Feb 25 to get the WOW offer. Wyotraveler Posted February 22, 2013 #12 Share Posted February 22, 2013 Agreed this is nothing special. Just hoping the cruise agency might offer something else on top of this. Missed out on the latest Crucon promotion.
tneah Posted February 22, 2013 #13 Share Posted February 22, 2013 Nothing special. A question. If you have a hold on a cabin does this mean I've created a non deposited booking? So, if I call a TA and go with their offer which says for new bookings only. Am I no longer considered a new booking?

I would hate to lose out on the OBC and other incentives offered.

Georgiagolfer Posted February 22, 2013 #18 Share Posted February 22, 2013 Seems to be a WOW sale Totally agree. DW and I are looking at booking FOS for 9/1/13 and there is a $125 C & A Savings Certificate available for that date, but can only use 1 of the offers. Bummer and no sale for us.:(

travelnut4 Posted February 22, 2013 #20 Share Posted February 22, 2013 Can you book during the WOW sale for the benefit of OBC and reduce deposit, and then transfer it within 60 days to an online TA for their additional benefit?

nivek82 Posted February 22, 2013 #24 Share Posted February 22, 2013 I've been eyeing a cruise that goes to final payment next week hoping there would be a price drop. Guess that won't happen now as prices normally go up for these sales.
bigboffs Posted February 22, 2013 #25 Share Posted February 22, 2013 To us, this sale is more Ugh than WOW. Reminds of the letters we get from RCCL offering a non combinable benefit that virtually no Platinum and above C&A member can benefit from.
