Stalk - Day 9

Today, Mel & DW are in the southern Indian port of Kochi, a beautiful area with all it's canals almost like an Indian Venice. It's sunny with a slight haze at 31°C currently. I think the only problem with the weather on this cruise will be the morning, after an AI night out, and one is feeling under the weather.

Also in town today is the 600 passenger MS Amadea.

Silly Port / place Quiz

Today we are staying in the Southern Hemisphere, the Key to the answer is in the WEE question:

"The windy capital to boot"

Liz, welcome to the winners list.

Was that too easy?

I was going to post a quiz about an Australian town, but it is very cryptic.

Charleston Heston's one (h)el(l) of his epic rolls, together with used to identify a woman by her maiden family name.

Stalk - Day 11

Already 11th day, how the time flies by (or should that be cruises by). Mel in in Male, capital of the Maldives a country of a thousands islands. The country is great for scuba diving or honeymonners (although I can look at the bedromm ceiling also at home). What can Mel do, go to one of the island resorts, explorer the city (I'm being generous) with 1/2 hour or stay onboard. The third photo shows my favouite (infact the only one) watering hole.

Weather, hasn't changed from yesterday.

So we are at the half way stage of the cruise.:(

Silly Port / Place Quiz

No clues today only

"Two toilets for a judge".

Stalk - Day 12

We have had an overnight stay in Male, Maldives, would not be my favoruite place for an overnighter. Now our Super cruise is now on the second half of a great cruise. It's a sunny ware 31°C day from with a slight breeze coming from due north.

The third photo is from the main sqaure / park on Male's sea front by the tender landing quai. Not only sharks have to be saved but also the Maldives otherwise it's new national anthemn could be based on Milton's "Paradise Lost".

Tomorrow, is a sea day which have been renamed by our Super Cruiser in "AIAD", it's not AIDA being mispelt but All Inclusive All Day.

Silly Port / Place Quiz

Today's quiz is very very simple:

"When did our Super Cruise first see the light of day".

Quiz from Stalk - Day 11, still has not been cracked, so here it is again, it is a Pearl of a question best with a Sandwich new not Old.

"Two toilets for a judge".

Satlk - Day 13

Today with have a glorious sea day with nothing todo but count the empty martini glasses and the empty beer bottles - Cheers. One of my favourite drinking toasts besides, Down the hatch, bottoms up and Prost is the Finnish (this is true) Kippis, you kip your drink down and then go for a p... .

We have a sunny 32°C with a moderate westerly breeze, just look at the colour of the sea in the 1st. photo, it certainly makes me envy :(. Not a lot of activity on the sun deck, must be the local happy hour.

Silly Port / Place Quiz

Bonjour, this could Take the Biscay, clue is:

"From what the ship's bread is made from"
