Stalk - Day 14

So who put the "T" in Ceylon, or to be politically correct Sri Lanka. Mel and DH are in Colombo today (also in town is the 710 passenger MS Azamara Journey). Atlantica is dock at the container port rather than the old delapadated Passenger Terminal.

Weather is a pleasant (don't knowwhat for) 35°C, sunny slight haze and visibility of 10 Km, furthest I ever saw was about 10 meters til the next alleyway.

I just love the Sari dress, it is so elegant (see 3rd. photo), in the 4th. photo on the exreme left is our Butler and the 5th. photo shows ourf personal tender / gun boat.

Silly Port / Place Quiz

Today we are looking for a port:

"Something that cpuld come from the Prince of Wales gall bladder of kidneys".

Stalk - Day 11, still has not been cracked, so here it is again, it is a Pearl of a question best with a Sandwich new not Old. The Cook was killed not by a Sandwich but on the Sandwich to which our quiz place belongs.

"Two toilets for a judge".

So let look first at the clues, Pearl is not the answer but Pael Harbour is near to it. The Cook (Captain James) was killed on a Sandwich, which isthe old name for Hawaii.

So the actual question "Two toilets for a judge":

Loo Loo Honour = Honour Loo loo = Honolulu.

This is to do with out Super Cruiser Mel, the question was :

"When did our Super Cruise first see the light of day".

So we have Mel and when did she first see the light of day, when she was born:

Mel born = Melbourne

It is a port but not a port wine port but a normal wine.

Stalk - Day 15

Already two weeks into the cruise, how the time flies while others are have a great cruise.

Today and tomoorow are sea daysand then an overnighter in Phuket, will be interesting to see if the Atlantica stops at Patong first (best place for genuine fake rolex that I've found).

Weather, why bother, just same as yesterday and the day before and the day before that etc. etc.

Not much contact with Mel, although I believe that the Wifi connect under the table is not so good as on the table.

The sea looks like a mill pond today.

Silly Port / Place Quiz

Today we are looking for a country that is Gulfs apart from Italy:

"What you tell to Italians when they should stand in line and be patience at the Buffet".

Liz, you cracked 99% of it, Bordeaux is the port, the answer was Board (as in onboard) and Dough was correct.

Well done.

Today's stalk will follow shortly. We've been out all day getting stuff (I'm certainly stuffed) fro the new appartment. Oh for a cruise!
