Mother's Day on Carnival...

John Heald announced on FB they are treating the mom's at dinner tonight. :)

Tonight each and every lady on each and every one of the Carnival ship's will receive a special dessert at dinner along with a long stemmed red carnation.

I'm glad it is for all ladies. I was an infertility patient and remember being at a restaurant who asked who was a mother at my table for a dessert. I burst into tears since I had discovered my last injectable drug series to get pregnant had failed. Sensitivity counts;)

Given the recent spate of bad PR for CCL I think they should have popped for long stem red roses this year instead of the usual carnations.

On Liberty last year & all women received a special dessert. The waiter was a little putout that I declined, I'm diabetic. My husband enjoyed it though!;)

We were given a very nice dessert last year on Fascination for Mothers Day. All flour ladies got it even the young adults. Kudos Carnival!

I think I got a different color of carnation than red the last time I was on during mother's day. It was still nice. The dessert was some chocolaty, almost fudgelike, very delicious and rich.

 

I put the flower in a glass in my cabin and enjoyed it the rest of the cruise.
