Where were they on the ship?

I found mine in 2011 at the Rising Tides Bar. Other people have said they hand them out for prizes at some of the games. Good luck, I hope they did a reprint, we loved following the clues and maps.

Was that a pic of my favorite jeweler: Bernard K. Passman? I love the black coral jewelry but that line has been discontinued (but we did get some great deals in spring 2012). The rest of the stuff is just out of my budget.. I'm holding out for David Yurman now.

Dinner at Samba Grill was fabulous, the best dining experience we have had so far on Allure.

The atmosphere was the most relaxed of the venues and the meal was a carnivore's delight.

Initially you are directed to a buffet with salads, shrimp, cheese, etc. The key better is don't load up or you will not survive round. There is a table light that is lit white when you arrive. After eating your starters you switch the light to green to begin the meat onslaught.

There are nine waves of meat, we only made it through seven. I think there was chicken wrapped in bacon, Brazilian sausage, top sirloin, filet mignon, bottom sirloin, brisket, skirt steak, pork tenderloin, and lamb. When you need a break you can switch the light to red. When you surrender you switch the light to white.

If you survive there is dessert which was chocolate cake, flan, and something with passion fruit (I forgot).

My favorite meat was the skirt streak, the did a grassy job cooking it and it was by far the most favorable.

If you have the chance don't miss the restaurant.

I am feeling a bit under the weather so we unfortunately will not be taking our excursion with Bernards Tours. Later in the morning I think we will walk down the pier to explore the general area.

Any suggestions on what we may see within walking distance of the ship?

Can you pick and choose the meat you want? Or do they just start bringing everything in a certain order? We really want to try Samba in November, it looks great.

Sorry you aren't feeling well, St. Maarten is such a nice place. We enjoyed the shopping area there, but I can't remember any specific stores. I think we got hot sauce and rum cake, not together of course :)

The water taxi will take you to the beach and more shopping. It's fun to walk along the boardwalk area over there.

Hope you feel better for the rest of the day.

Sorry you're feeling under the weather. We had that happen the first time we went to St. Martin, too! I think it was dinner at the Wipeout Cafe the night before.

There's the usual shops at the pier. Nothing too big. No bars or anything; I do remember a place selling French crepes, but don't remember any other restaurants. There may be something in the first big building you come, too. There's a nice dolphin statue around the back of the shops on the left.

Hope you feel better soon! You've got to make the most of your last days!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. We did go out for a while and took the water taxi into town. Wandered the shops and beaches, bought a few things and are heading back. I took a lot of pictures on ever Nikon and will try uploading later.

Your weather looks decent. Did it rain at all? I'm leaving Sat on the Oasis and when looking at the weather reports it calls for rain when we are there. I'm hoping it would be just a short shower and not a total rain out

If you get a chance stop at the Boardwalk Bar and have a drink with Reynaldo..one fantastic bartender. We visited with him each day! Loving this review and brings me back to a month ago when we had the pleasure of crusing on her.
