dmackay46 Posted May 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2013 We are on Deck 6 midships on our forthcoming cruise. Do any of the bars in the Royal Promenade do the Daiquiri cocktails so we can easily take them back to our cabins? Or are the cocktail bars on the sun decks above? Im pretty sure you can get about any drink you want at the Pub or at the Champagne bar. Both located at the Royal Promenade :)
the_journeyman Posted May 29, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2013 What ship? We had no problem getting any type of drink at either the pub or other cafe/bar on the promenade on Adventure of the Seas. I would think most bars can make almost anything. JM
dmackay46 Posted May 29, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted May 29, 2013 What ship? Sorry...its the Independence of the Seas. My fault, I presumed all the Royal Promenades on Freedom class were the same ! :o

AZAficionado Posted May 29, 2013 #6 Share Posted May 29, 2013 I'm using my Freedom experience. First off, the Champagne Bar does not serve everything, neither does Vintages (wine only) and both are on the Promenade. Not sure about the pub. The bigger issue is time of day. Prior to 3 pm, the only full-service bars open are up on deck 11 (Pool, Sky, Solarium & Squeeze). After 3 pm, the inside bars open and your best bet is Boleros if aft elevators are closest or On-Air if forward elevators are closest.
39august Posted May 29, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 29, 2013 Isn't there also a bar right next to/part of Promenade Cafe? The pub makes most mixed drinks.
clcurry Posted May 29, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 29, 2013 I was surprised to see that the pub on my Freedom of the Seas cruise offered frozen drinks. Is the daiquiri you want frozen? I think they could most likely make this for you here. The Champagne Bar doesn't have everything, it is more of a specialty champagne and mixed drinks venue. I don't know if they have a blender there and I don't think they do beer either. You can also order drinks via room service. :)

JPRLHR Posted May 29, 2013 #12 Share Posted May 29, 2013 You can also order drinks via room service. :) Yes you can but as they state when you call up, it can take up to 30 minutes.
Jimnbigd Posted May 29, 2013 #13 Share Posted May 29, 2013 Note that some bars are not open during the day. And of course fewer bars are open when the ship is at a port-of-call. Usually the main pool bars is open. And I think there is a bar in the buffet. As for the Royal Promenade (deck 5), there is the Champagne bar (towards the back near the dining room), the English Pub, Vintages (might be limited to wine here), and I think a bar in next to Cafe Promenade. Also there is a bar in the front lounge, usually open at night when events are there. On deck 4, there is the Schooner bar in front of the casino, and Bolero's in back of the casino, and of course a bar in the casino itself. Lots of bars. <hic :o>
