Don't bring....

Recommended Posts

Water is usually allowed on at boarding - never tried to bring soda so I can't say from experience but is not supposed to be brought on.

There are enough outlets - you won't need extension cords.

RCI wine policy is two bottles per stateroom at 750ml maximum at original embarkation only as carry on. No other alcohol other than wine is permitted.

They say NO beverages, except those 2 bottles of wine, but in reality, they don't care much about small amounts of soda or water. If you try to bring CASES on, they will likely confiscate them!

We've only needed an extension cord once....when hubby needed a heating pad. The outlets are at the vanity....plug and unplug as needed. Not a big deal.

We bring a 12 pack of canned soft drinks (diet Dr. Pepper) in leaving from a U.S. port. In Europe, we are THRILLED to see DIET Coke instead of Light Coke because it actually tastes different. Odd thing is that we had a basket in our cabin and it had LIGHT coke...lol.

We brought a case of bottled water and a case of soda on both of our last cruises. We put luggage tags on them and checked them. They were delivered to our room and they actually made it to our cabin before the luggage did!
