Breaking News???

 

I heard that JH will be promoted to Captain on the Sunshine....and the menu on the ship will change to Chicken and waffles only!

 

I am not revealing my sources...so don`t ask...just believe in me...

Sounds interesting but I will wait and believe it when the official press release and subsequent details are announced. It seems illogical to me though that they meaning Carnival would go from Fun ship 2.0 to Fun ship 2.2 and skip 2.1 completely. :confused:

Well this totally ticks me off if its true. We are booked on the Victory (since 2012) and did so based on the fact that we wanted to have the 2.0 upgrades in place BEFORE our Jan 2014 cruise. Talk about a "bait and switch"!!!!!!

If not mistaken I think it's September 2014.

 

Drydock and some long overdue TLC can't come too soon for Victory.

 

Case in point: there are 4 underwater floodlights in the aft pool. NOT ONE of them actually worked, making the pool a very dark place at night. The pool is not restricted to adults, it's open until 1 am, and a child drowned in broad daylight in the midship pool on the sailing just prior to ours.

Go figure.
