MrFunInTheSun Posted October 18, 2013 #227 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Thank You, Your review of the Enchantment helped me a lot earlier this year! Thank you, am glad it was helpful. :) Your review is helping me get by until it's my lucky day to sail on Lady Allure on November 17th! Another solo cruise too. So is nice to see this ship thru your eyes as a fellow solo cruiser. Your pictures are wonderful. I'm hopefully my next "Live" on the 17th on Lady Allure can live up to your report. :)
maureencruiser Posted October 18, 2013 Author #228 Share Posted October 18, 2013 They were setting up for the Latin Fiesta Street Party - if these glasses don't spell F-U-N , I don't know what does. Some random pics as I wandered All Aboard was 6:30, timestamp shows this pic was taken at 6:49. Bye! OK, I did not go to Izumi, I did not see Izumi, but, here is their menu. Did someone borrow my camera to take these pics? I have no recollection of this at all.
maureencruiser Posted October 18, 2013 Author #229 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Dinner that night, I returned to Rita's to try to find those green things I liked so much. I failed, but, Cynthia saw me going in from her BW Balcony and ran down to join me for dinner. A tequila voyage! The Solos had been raving about the Pomegranate Margarita, who am I not to follow a trend? Again, if this doesn't look like fun, what is? Damn, we look good! maureencruiser Posted October 18, 2013 Author #230 Share Posted October 18, 2013 After dinner, was the glow party - I tried to take some pics. This is waiting for the party to begin. Take my advice and purchase your own glow accessories at home before the cruise. They will cost MUCH less and they won't look like everyone else's. Also, if you wear white, you will glow. If you wear neon, you will be hoppin' and poppin'. This was one of the best parties and the most fun. After this was Blue Planet. It was very good and I liked it a lot, especially the acrobats and costumes and special effects. I still preferred OceanAria, though!
maureencruiser Posted October 18, 2013 Author #231 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Day 7 - My Inner Child comes out, like it wasn't out all week After breakfast and the $10 T-Shirt sale, my next activity was Imaginocean, a magical black light show for the entire family up in the kids' area. I had time to kill, so I meandered.

maureencruiser Posted October 18, 2013 Author #234 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Again, this was a black light puppet show for CHILDREN, here is the audience gathering. Even the bears were tired of our nonsense! OK, the story was 3 fish friends, 1 was green, he might be a frog, check the pictures, found a treasure map on the ocean floor and set off in search of treasure. The frog/green fish is a germaphobe and was very concerned about all the "germ carriers" sitting in the seats. He wanted to make sure we had all used plenty of Purell. Like there was any way to avoid it! On the Jewel, the comedian said , Why don't they just fill the pools with Purell? Yeah, he's got legs, he's definitely a frog. maureencruiser Posted October 18, 2013 Author #235 Share Posted October 18, 2013 So cute! In the end, the moral of the story was...Spoiler Alert.....The best treasure you can ever find are good friends. Sniff, sniff.....Tear, tear...... Costumes for the kids I'm posting this to prove there WERE children on the sailing. Kids arcade
maureencruiser Posted October 18, 2013 Author #236 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Some info for the parents out there If you're buying photos. I bought one small pic, 2 large ones (one free for Diamond) and the video of the cruise. It cost about $62 total. There has been some talk about how the tips are distributed. Then, I ran into the Michael Jackson dance class. They were doing Beat It and Thriller.

wrp96 Posted October 18, 2013 #244 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Serious comment - yes those drugs in Mexico were real and yes fantastic prices. We frequently buy drugs for our medical missions trips in other countries as a result. I'm not a pharmacist in real life but I play one on vacation.;) And as to Quest, oh I'm sure you have pictures - you just have to save them for the right (read: blackmail) time.:D
AutumnN101 Posted October 18, 2013 #245 Share Posted October 18, 2013 I heade to the WJ for lunch and to take some pics. On the way into the WJ, a man grabbed my arm and yelled, Birmingham! I smiled at him and thought, Umm, no, Maureen. He gestured like I should know what he is talking about and said, Birmingham, Alabama. Oh, I get it, it's a game where you just shout out a random city! Spokane, Washington! Well, it turned out he thought he knew me, that we had worked together 20 years before. They say everyone has a twin, but, could there be two such beauties walking the face of the earth? What a fun review, I laugh at least once each post (that is when I'm not drooling over your half-naked men pictures :p) It goes perfectly with my morning coffee :) Thank you for taking the time to post! maureencruiser Posted October 19, 2013 Author #250 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Maureen, where is the glow party held? Looked like the theatre, but then it appeared people were down front? What took place in the party? Is the GLOW PARTY for adults only? Can teens join the party? I can only quote two at a time, how do some of you quote more than that? As the previous (unquoted, sorry) poster said, It is at Studio B, the Ice rink, same place where Quest and Battle of the Sexes was held. It is all ages, there were a lot of children. It is a big dance party under black light, so you glow if you wear white. But, please, wear neon, those people were ELECTRIC!! Buy glow accessories at home or places like Oriental Trading Company have tons of stuff. I have glow in the dark rubber duckies in my bathroom. The next time I am on a ship with a glow party, (are Oasis and Allure the only ones?), I am going to bring a ton of glow stuff and give it to the people, especially kids, who don't have any. :D
