Does entertainment change on Back to Back?

Is the entertainment the same or does it change the second week on two 7 day Back to Back cruises from Ft. Lauderdale?

Usually the big production shows stay the say, but the comediennes and magicians do change.

Depending upon cycling/timing, you likely will have mostly the same shows.

Depends if your cruise is being sold as a Collectors Cruise. As has been discussed here a few times, the singers/dancers know as many as 8 routines now (as we experienced on a 22 day Collectors Cruise on Eurodam this July), and with the popularity of Collectors Cruises, the singers/dancers may not repeat their shows.

 

In our case, we saw 6 different shows, plus the welcome aboard show, which was repeated for both parts of the Collectors Cruise.

 

Previous to that, on a 14 day Collectors Cruise, only one of the 4 main shows were repeated, so the entertainers/singers knew at least 3 shows then.

 

Other entertainment- comedians, etc- may change for each cruise.

On our Collector Cruises, the production shows stayed the same.

But a couple of the comedians, etc. changed.

I've seen some of the big production shows over and over in the past few years. I know it's expensive , but it's time to retire some of them and give us something new.

I did B2B in Australia and most entertainment was repeated. We had a folk guitarist who was appaling and he stayed playing every evening in the Crows Nest for the whole 23 nights, despite protests from passengers. What is usually the best place to be in the evenings on HAL was almost deserted.

DW and I were on the NA last month doing a Collectors Cruise, and for the most part there was different entertainment, also the menus in the MDR were not the same.

Having done a fair number of Collectors Cruises, I can say that in our experience, the shows and the menus are repeated.
