Thank you. Okay I will also make a note there too. On FB. The travel agent also just left me a message my third cabin was moved down the hall also on deck 8. So they moved us (all 3 cabins) to the same deck but I hear all your points. Moving to deck 15 was not an option when I was on the phone with them without paying the up charge in all 3 cabins.

I think it will benefit you to post on Facebook. Only you know all of the circumstances to your situation and you are in the best position to articulate them to Princess. Good luck and, sometimes, making noise is essential in getting your voice heard. :)

BTW - I posted on Facebook and got a couple of trolls who are spewing vitriol and claiming the OP already posted on Facebook a long time ago about this situation. They clearly don't know what they're talking about I can't believe some people seem to enjoy insulting others just for the sake of insulting. They're also insulting this forum. Anyway, OP, good luck and I wish you a positive outcome!

Thanks, yes I saw that. I just posted a very general statement. That guy is really angry!!

I saw your post. Very diplomatic and nice. Don't be surprised, however, when "Demetrius" (troll poster on Facebook) tells you that you don't know what you're talking about and that it's all your fault!!! I hope it's resolved soon - to your benefit! :)

Well thank you. I did actually notice those cabins and they told me I would have to pay more $$ and we could only have M106 or M105 (I think) which are not next to each other. My husband said ok but the TA talked me out of it and told me to go with the Emerald deck because those cabins are next to each other. My head is spinning from all these phone calls and I had to decide right there on the spot. I couldn't remember if it was better to be forward or Aft.

I am sorry this happened to you:( What is up with your TA???? :rolleyes:This is why you have TA to go to bat for you when & if an issue occurs!

I was never so happy to have a TA when I was told I had no OBC and they did not care to see my paperwork. (I was onboard ship)

E-mailed the TA and had my 400.00 OBC that night!

I do book with the cruise line also but since you have a TA he or she should be making this right for you!

I saw that also, seems DC constantly stirs the pot on FB. There was a similar instance posted in November...think he got them mixed up! Someone owes you an apology:)

Louise, thanks for the clarifying Facebook post. People like "DC" seem to have nothing better to do than denigrate others. Hopefully, Princess will notice and resolve the issue.

I can't see the post on Facebook. I clicked on the Facebook icon on Princess web site. But I don't see anything about this on it. Am I looking in the right place?

Go to the Princess Cruises Facebook page. Look to the right of the page and you will see "Recent Posts by Others on Princess Cruises." Click "See All" and you will see many posts. Mine starts with "I am very disturbed...." OP's post begins with "Princess as much as I love...."

Thanks I found it.

I am not sure, but aren't M105' 106 and 108 at the front of the ship? If so, you don't want those, as it is my understanding that you can't go out on the balcony when the ship is at sea. I know you are disappointed, but I don't think the Premium balcony is that much smaller, and the main difference is just a showe, no tub. At least there is a separate seating area. So at this point, take the dollars you save and spend it on something to cheer everyone up.

You definitely can go out on the balcony if in M108 (just not in rough seas). Other posters have stayed in M and L108 and have had full access to the enormous balcony!

I use a great TA. One time I went to her office to book a Princess cruise. She call Princess with the booking with me there sitting next to her. My cabin was marked no upgrades and will not accept upgrade. Well, Princess change my cabin. It does happen no matter what is marked. In my case the PAX who had my cabin the week before were staying on for my cruise and did not want to change cabins. So I lost mine. TA got me some OBC in exchange for me to change cabins. When I got to the ship the cabin was for four people and I hit my head on the closed upper bunk. I told the front desk what happen and a officer moved us to a very nice cabin. I did have a small lump on my head.

You definitely shouldn't have to pay anything additionally to get the three cabins together. I know it's exhausting but it may be worth it to call again and insist on speaking with a supervisor. Princess would have been given your kids' ages upon booking. That should have flagged them to ask first before moving any of your cabins.

There should be basic questions that a travel agent asks while making a booking, such as if there's a specific cabin, if you don't mind being upgraded in that case, what kind of dining, do you want transfers from the cruiseline, etc. Hopefully if you book with a cruise specialist they would understand the importance of these questions, no matter which line you're considering.

Me too, but I got my original cabin back. (Happened twice)

I did like the cabin that they moved me to in the same cat as I had book. The difference was the new cabin that they gave me was for four people and the upper bunks stuck out from the wall. Hence I hit my head on it the first hour I was on board. When I went to the front desk they saw the small lump. I just ask them (this sounds silly) to send some one up with a screw driver and take out the top bunk. They told me to go back to my cabin a wait. A very nice officer came to our cabin and ask what happen saw the small bump and ask me to follow him. He brought me to another cabin and ask me if I wanted it. This one had a balcony. I did say if they could pad the edge of the upper bunk or take it out in the old cabin that I would stay in it. He told me to take the balcony cabin. Which we did.

Wow, that's great! I hate those damn bunk beds. I've conked my head on them a few times too.

Op, it looks like things may have worked out pretty good. The mini's just aren't that much bigger IMO. Now you have more money for excursions. :)

The officer told me that it happen a lot. He could see the red bump. He want to know if I need to see the Dr. I did not need to see him (DR.). I told him my husband says I have a hard head. We had a great cruise.
