Hi all :D

I'm here again with a new question.

Probably (it depends if I confirm another booking for a cruise in September, but I hope yes!!) between my second and third Asian cruise (the last of three legs) I will be change status level in Crown &Anchor. From Emerald I'll become Diamond... How it works? Normally I know that points are recognized on our account just before every cruise and as far as I saw on my RCCL account (mycruises) it takes a few days before the status is updated. This means that if the points are not readily calculated I risk of not being able to be recognized like Diamond? and then I lose my privileges and SeaPass with Diamond-indicated during my last leg? Someone can tell me some indication about that?

Thanks

See the LA on board and they will put the Diamond sticker on your seapass card and you will receive all the diamond benefits with the exception of the increased balcony discount if applicable.

if we are on a b2b, can we send laundry out that would be in the laundry system during the change from cruise 1 to cruise 2?

When doing a b2b each cruise is independent of the other, so you have 2 separate SeaPass Accounts. When cruise 1 is over, your account is closed and a new one started. There is no carry over from one to the other.

You would have to either send your laundry out towards the end of the first cruise, making sure that you give enough time for it to be returned prior to turnaround day, or have it ready to send out at the beginning of the 2nd cruise.

Sorry, what LA mean? In every case I'll be in an interior cabin.

Hi Elena, you need to see the Loyalty Ambassador on board during your second part of your b2b2b. Mention to him/her that you will become Diamond upon completion of the 2nd cruise and would like to be recognized on your 3rd cruise.

On our last B2B we were told to fill out the Custom's form but leave the declaration items and amount blank since the items we bought the first week will stay on the ship.

Then claim everything from both weeks on the second Custom's form we were leave the ship for good.

I'm not sure if each Royal Caribbean ship does it this way but this is the way we did it on the Navigator in 2012.

What do you mean that you are escorted off and back on again?

We were told that the ship needs to have a zero count of passengers before it can start boarding new passengers. The first time it took us less than 15 minutes for all of us to walk off the ship, pass in front of a custom's agent and then back on the ship where we were "dinged" in with our new Seapass cards.

We have had it take anywhere from 10-15 minutes to 1 1/2 hours! On that cruise the person escorting our group of around 20 people off the ship put us in a side room to wait "for just a few minutes," left saying she would be right back, and, I think, forgot about us. It was only after several people got upset and demanded to see someone in charge that we were escorted us back on. We saw her having a very intense discussion with her superior as we all got on the ship.

Hi I'm Elena from Switzerland (I speak Italian)...

I have a question about back to back cruises because its my fist time that I do more than one!

I'll sail on next 26 December for three consecutive cruises. I'll be on Mariner from Singapore and I booked for all three legs the same cabin (interior category M)

Hi all :-)

I'm here another time for ask your helping hand....

My B2B2B is getting closer and my trip (see info above) begins in two weeks !!!

I have some more questions or doubts:

1) I was wondering if for each cruise I have to print luggage tags (although my cabin remains the same so I think I'll don't move my stuff during all three cruises). Of course I'll print the Tags for the first legs yes... but what I have to do for the others two legs? have to put the Tags even if my luggage will not be moved?

2) I have already booked (and paid for) some excursions through the cruise planner. What happens if I want to cancel one even during a cruise? how should I do it?

3) I also booked the MyTime dining so I could feel more free during my vacation ... I wonder though if I had the need, on board I can still change them or not?

As always... Thanks for yours answer :)

I have 2 B2B coming up. I keep the same cabin on the Grandeur but on the Allure I move (I wanted to try both Boardwalk and Central Park balconies).

1. Since access to cabins before they are generally ready is controlled by closing the hallway doors can I still just walk through the door or is it locked? If so, how do I access my cabin?

2. Since I'm changing cabins on the Allure, does that affect my early access to the new cabin?

3. I see accounts do not carry over from one cruise to the next. Does that mean I must use all my internet time before the first cruise ends?

Thanks

Roy

No,only 1 tag to get the bags delivered to your room

3) I also booked the MyTime dining so I could feel more free during my vacation ... I wonder though if I had the need, on board I can still change them or not? you would have to talk to the Maitre D in the Dining room if you want to change but there has to be a table and time. We don't do MTD

You will be either able to move yourself before you are led off to clear the ship or move afterward, or your attendant will move you. But you will have a new Sea Pass Card to get into your new room. The doors are not locked to the halls and often you are given an In Transit Card to show if asked. So, you can go to your new cabin after you have cleared the ship.

2. Since I'm changing cabins on the Allure, does that affect my early access to the new cabin?

We approach the new cabin att. a day or more ahead and introduce ourselves. So, they know we are moving in. If you ask nicely often they will try to get that room done as soon as they can. We like to move our own things over right away then and settle in and it save them the time. They probably won't move you until later if they do it....... Many times we are moved in before we go to Clear the ship and do Immigration etc.

3. I see accounts do not carry over from one cruise to the next. Does that mean I must use all my internet time before the first cruise ends?

Yes Maybe it is different with a package, you would have to ask. We get free time with being D+ and it is gone

You need to discuss this with your cabin steward to know what needs to be done. We have done 5 B2Bs where we had to move and each one was handled differently.

Sherri:)

I'm glad you said that. I've seen that in many different areas of working with Royal Caribbean. Don't they always have a meeting for B2B cruisers? This might be the place to get the definitive answer for that particular ship.

Don't always have a meeting. We do many many B2Bs and many B4-6Bs. sometimes you have a meeting and sometimes we just picked our new Sea Pass as we exited the ship! There were few of us in Barcelona and I think that was the ship with no meeting and our passes were in an envelope at the ramp.

Check also with the front desk mid cruise so they are aware you are B2B, we have been on 5 in a row and they did not have us for the last 2? Others got the letter and we knew then they had missed us. Went to the meeting and told them we were on Also for the next B2B, missed us again! So, you have to be proactive as well.

Many were missed that time and no Sea Pass cards were ready, they had to rush to have them made while we waited in the Lounge area. So, it doesn't always go perfectly.........

We like to move ourselves and have always done so. They say the Cabin Att. will move you but it can take some time and you would need to carry your safe belongings etc. with you until then.

We have no problem ever doing it ourselves, in all the many cabin moves with our B2Bs. We book our cabin so we are on the same deck which is a lot easier.

Thanks CVU for your answers :-)

I hope to don't have too many problems of understanding (my native language is Italian, but I try to speak English... At most I'll try to ask for the information necessary speaking French or Spanish)
