Does Princess offer deals on internet and specialty restaurants the first day

of the cruise? I've only sailed on Princess once in the past and can't remember.

I've seen internet specials for pre-purchase not embarkation day.

 

As far as specialty dining, have not seen that at all.

No deals on embarkation day nor can you upgrade your cabin at the pier.

 

You get extra minutes if you get an Internet package on embarkation day but you get more extra minutes if you pre-order the package before embarking. If you are Platinum or Elite (five completed cruises or more), you get a free Internet package.

 

There are sometimes spa deals on port days.

Not so fast. As a Platinum cruiser, I get a "free" internet package that I have never exceeded. So when the first night specialty dinner popped up, it was a no-brainer for me.;) We never miss it. And as for suite vs. no suite, I go on cruises to be pampered. Suites do that.

Yes but a free dinner would not be a deciding factor for us to book a suite and never has been. We get the internet too and based on the fact that I didn't use a fraction our free minutes last month (internet was terrible, and gave up) its looking more and more like a fading perk to me. :(

I've seen free minutes offered for booking a certain level of minutes. Typically it is similar to the free minutes you'd get for buying pre-cruise.
