White hot party

Can someone please tell me what the white hot party is all about? I know you are supposed to wear something white. Is it a dressy party or casual? Appropriate for small children? Thanks!

It is casual, or I suppose you could dress up if you preferred. It is appropriate for children in the beginning. At some point, I believe 10 or 11pm it becomes adult only.

Been to a couple, the kids love it, lots of music and dancing.

If it's outside, I might bring a kid but really it's a club thing. I wouldn't want to explain to my small child why there are scantily clad women & bare chested me running around wearing angel wings. I have seen kids at the party & always questioned the parents' judgment. It can have a very sexual vibe.

 

It's both casual & dressy. I wore a white dress. Many people wear shorts.

I don't think our White Hot Party started until 10:00 pm. We had people in bath robes (because they didn't have anything else white) and it got kind of risque out on the dance floor.

 

I sure wouldn't want my young children attending.

On my recent cruise aboard the Gem there was a family white hot party at 8pm and an adults only party at 10pm. Some people dress up, some wear their bed sheets.

The white hot party is a blast! You will find people dressed up and dressed down. It really doesn't matter what you wear because I can guarantee that someone there will be dressed the same. (Well, unless you do actually have angel wings, and even then, the staff will have them).

You can wear anything you like. It doesn't even have to be white. It only has to be white if you want to "glow" under the black light. :D I have dressed up in skirts and flashy tops before, I have worn just jeans and a white tee shirt before, I have also worn the NCL "White Hot Party" tee before. It depends on my mood. :p

Trust me, this don't work. You will stop at the casino in the way in and after the party, you'll have to stop on the way back. :D I know this from experience. :p

I know it's wishful thinking but any time spent someplace else is a win. Even if it's only the time it takes to go, see what's going on, and get back to the casino I've save $$...............

Is there any consistency as to when this party takes place? Is it the next to the last night, etc? I want to keep my husband's white shirt clean.

On the Breakaway it is called the "Glow party", held outside at spice H2o. About one third of the people attending were not dressed up, and it was a split for the rest between neon clothing ( the theme ) and white clothing. Black lights make bright orange and yellow really "glow" and of course the white very bright.
