Bayside area hotels,

[Pailful in ohio]

We'll be cruising out of Miami next March and need a hotel in the Bayside market area. Any suggestions? We'd prefer something within a short walking distance to Bayside? Thanks:):)

I like the InterContinental Downtown in that area. It's a nice hotel in a good location downtown. The walk to Bayside is quick and scenic through Bayfront Park.

We have personally stayed at the Marriott Biscayne Bay (loved it) and the Holiday Inn POM (never again). Friends stayed at the Intercontinental (NOT the Continental) and loved it.

Intercontinental, B2, Holiday Inn surround Bayside. Any others are further away.

 

Be sure to check multiple rates, sometimes they might pleasantly surprise you. :)

All four are within a few minute walk from Bayside. Rates vary quite a bit.

Stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in downtown Miami once... We walked to Bayside, and it was about a 15 minute walk. The Hyatt is nearby the Courtyard as well.

 

Keep in mind that downtown Miami has a "Metromover" system that is free. One of the stops on this system is Bayside.

I have stayed at both Intercontinental and Holiday inn in the last year, both are fine. Yes, IC has a fancier lobby but it is just a nights stay.
