Current On Board Booking Perks?

I did a search and am still not clear what is currently offered as it has changed a couple of times recently. Does anyone have a link to the current program with the details?

I'm considering booking 3 cruises in Australia/NZ/Hawaii strung together in the spring of 2016, 2 on Royal Caribbean and 1 on Celebrity.

I'm trying to figure out what perks I would get by booking this on board one of our upcoming Celebrity trips. From what I can figure I wouldn't get the drink package on the Celebrity leg as it's considered a Trans Pacific, but what do you get in lieu of that?

I also don't really understand the Royal balcony bonus. Not sure of the details as we've only cruised Royal once. I would assume from the name that you have to book a balcony class to get the discount? Due to our Celebrity Status we are Diamond on Royal. Does anyone know if I book on board Celebrity are you eligible for the balcony discount and the OBC that is offered for the Royal segments of the trip?

Thanks for any advice to those that are familiar with both programs.

Just keeping your post on the front page. You are asking excellent questions that I would like to know the answers to for myself!

Thanks for having an interest in the subject also. Hopefully someone that has a current scan of the On Board booking details will chime in soon.

This document describes the 123 onboard promotion (read the fine print on second page about trans pacific trips being exlcuded) I don't know for sure, but I think that means you would only get what is discussed on the previous thread:

I'll attempt to answer. While onboard the Reflection we booked the Silhouette for this

December. We got a choice of 1-2-3 perks, since we are Elite we picked a obc. We also got an additional obc of $250. plus and automatic upgrade. We went from a CC3 to a CC2 with a huge balcony on the hump. Once home we transferred to out TA and got free tips, a free specialty dinner and an additional obc.

Thank you for this information. It sure answers the question about our 2015 Transpacific cruise.

I recently booked onboard and from what I found the only difference was additional OBC ($125) and reduced deposit ($100 pp). We got the regular 123 perk, and one category upgrade for being captains club (for us 1B to 1A)- but I believe you get that no matter when you book.

We live in the UK and there is no price guarantee. If we transferred to a US TA would the guarantee apply and if so so could someone please send me a link or something as I have just booked a cruise for next year as I was onboard the Reflection. Any help is welcome.

I think the obc is determined by the length of the cruise booked and the category cabin. Yup, forgot to mention the reduced deposit made, didn't matter to us. pay now or pay later, still paying.

Thanks everyone for the information here, especially this post which I think answers all my questions. I still need to read the thread from the RC board.

Here is a link from the previous thread that Celebrity Cruises posted a current update on;

I knew the transatlantics/pacifics excluded the drink package, I just didn't know if it got anything. Seems next to nothing for that part, 18 days, $75 OBC for an OV. I wonder if it will combine with anything. Hopefully I'll still get the one Cat upgrade

Thanks for the help. This answered my question. I wasn't happy with the results, but suspected that the Trans Atlantic/Pacifics are excluded. It seems to be true that those cruises are so heavily discounted that buying a Beverage Pkg. isn't so painful. I was spoiled by receiving the free pkg. on the Equinox Trans Atlantic crossing last year, so I'll keep hoping it happens again.

We have purchased open bookings several times with no trouble. This year when booking a British Isles cruise I gave them my open booking number, then began to tell them which of the 123 perks I wanted. The girl said I couldn't use 123 and the open booking together. OK I said leave off the open booking and I'll use it in the future. Then she said since she already had in the system all she could do is move it to some other cruise far in the future. So somehow I have my open booking applied to some unknown future cruise. I have been over the paperwork with a magnifying glass and found no reference to these restrictions. Very strange. Looking forward to sitting down with a future cruise planner and getting everything straightened out.

The problem with that is sometimes they really don't know all the details, need additional training and probably can not do anything about a previous problem. They are basically there to sell new cruises. I think it's up to us to know the details.

I would try calling Captain's Club and see if you can't get the previous certificate straightened out. It should combine with 123 also.
