We were on the Westerdam on June 21st. We loved the Dive-in Grill , just delicious. The beeper system worked very well. Very nice venue. And the fries are delicious too!

The dive in was functioning on my cruise mid April on the westy. I thought the burgers looked better than they tasted but the fries were good. That cruise was just off so they might be a lot better by now.

Glad to hear the Westy has the Dive In. According to Hal all their ships will be getting it implemented over this summer. I know the Zaandam did not have it yet in May/June.

The burger and fixings [caramelized onion, gouda cheese, bacon] were good, the bun was cold and very chewy - so not a good biteable burger for me. I ended up leaving the bun on the tray. The fries were good with and without the dive-in sauce. I never got to the hot dogs but they looked good! They did not have the beeper the day I got mine but gave a number/called out. Not very busy the one time I got there.

 

I intended to get back at least for fries and maybe a hot dog, but there was SO MUCH GOOD FOOD that I never made it back.

Is there anyplace where you can see if there will be Dive In on your ship? We're on the Prinsendam starting 8/10/14 and were curious if Dive In was there yet.

All of the burgers come on white buns except for the portabella, but they were happy to make my burger up on a wheat bun for me.

Ate several times at the Dive In the past two weeks aboard the Westerdam. Some of the burgers were a bit dry with one of the cooks mashing the juices out of them. Another double burger (you have to ask for doubles) was very juicy and delicious. All burgers needed salt so you cannot just take them back to your room with a seasoning stop.

 

Fries were excellent.
