Having to learn for work purposes and leisure is completely different. My mom has zero interest in having a computer or and ipad. I know she would be beyond stressed about it. Some seniors might enjoy it but some just don't care. Not everyone needs to embrace technology.

 

You are right. I seem to recall a few HAL cruisers getting to the port on their horses. :)

Good idea, but a lot of work for what seems to be an overworked purser's office as is.

It's a simple programming exercise. It wouldn't be a manual calculation. I don't expect them to act on it though.

My uncle owned up to 75 when he bought his Macbook and signed up for lessons.

 

Several years later he is skyping with the best of them. He had previously never toucheca keyboard.
