Rare Hlitner Posted August 2, 2014 #152 Share Posted August 2, 2014 Having to learn for work purposes and leisure is completely different. My mom has zero interest in having a computer or and ipad. I know she would be beyond stressed about it. Some seniors might enjoy it but some just don't care. Not everyone needs to embrace technology. You are right. I seem to recall a few HAL cruisers getting to the port on their horses. :) Hank
sail7seas Posted August 2, 2014 #153 Share Posted August 2, 2014 There are many assumptions being made in this thread and we all know what happens when we 'assume'. ;)
Rare POA1 Posted August 2, 2014 #154 Share Posted August 2, 2014 Good idea, but a lot of work for what seems to be an overworked purser's office as is. It's a simple programming exercise. It wouldn't be a manual calculation. I don't expect them to act on it though.
