Tissues?

Recommended Posts

True ... The toilet paper provided is made to work best in their waste system.

Think is called "marine grade" and is sold in some marinas for people with private yachts/boats.

*nod* Essentially indistinguishable from a certain well-known brand that typically sells single 1000-sheet rolls to students and other folks not interested in buying a whole four-pack at a time.

(There is a "maceration system" (basically a grinder) on most ships that combines with the vacuum pumps to ensure that waste from toilets makes it all the way to where it's going. Stuff that is not human waste or really flimsy bath tissue will gum up the maceration and cause a whole block of cabins toilets to stop working until the macerator is cleared. That's why they're so fussy about "Don't throw ANYTHING you didn't excrete into the toilet". It's a messy, horrible job that inconveniences like 50 people at a minimum.)

I always bring a big box of tissues...makeup removal, nose blowing, etc....the tissues they provide are awful, and there are only a few in a box!

Don't EVER flush anything but toilet paper...the trash can is for everything but the tp!!!
