Wondering what movies are being shown at night up on the outdoor screen. This will be our first cruise and think it will be fun to sit outside and watch a movie one night.

I was on Carnival Splendor in June, and I do remember them showing "The Hunger Games" in the evening. I don't remember what other movies were shown. But I don't think I have seen any sports on the screen during the day. Concerts yes, not sports.

The showed football games last year, but made the decision to move sports to the sports bar this year, and concentrate on showing movies on the big screen. From John Heald:

Not a JH expert, but they most likely have a different policy for the "week to week" games verse championship games. Again... this is just speculation.

If you read the OPs original post, you'd see that they're leaving on the Magic on Oct. 26th. Hence, a pretty reasonable assumption that the football games in question are regular season and not the super bowl.

People were talking about sports games in the sports bars and not on big screen just the movies. I mentioned that the super bowl would be shown on the big screen. That's it, nothing else, nada, zip. Never even mentioned the time of day.
