It's official Mama Mia coming to Allure

Hello,

Me and my family are booked on the June 7th sail.

I have emailed RCCL regarding this bad news -that Mama Mia show will not be at our sale. And seemed its true I have just received below e-mail from RCCL.

"After consulting with our entertainment department, we have been informed that neither Chicago nor Mamma Mia! is scheduled for the June 7, 2015 sailing of the Allure of the Seas. Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to provide any additional information on the scheduling of these shows. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause".

This is very disappointing that there will no Broadway show in our sail date.

We are big fans of Abba and we are very update.

We have already paid for the flights and the final payment and we can do nothing to change this.

I think that RCCL should compensate the people in our cruise date.

I just got off the phone with RCCL. I spoke with "Scott" and he told me the June 14th sailing will not have ANY broadway show either.

Oddly, today the cruise planner has Mamma Mia in the list of entertainment to schedule. I tried to book it and was not able to pick a day.

Mamma Mia is available for booking for August now.

Day 1 6:30 PM

Day 2 4:30 PM

Day 3 8:00 PM

It is listed as being in the Royal Theater so I guess the Amber Theater is getting a name change too.

Thank you for posting the times. Great that they are having a matinee and earlier time as they did on the Quantum

I agree though I notice if you have traditional dining at 6:00 or 6:30 PM you won't be able to make any of the shows and your dining that night.

If you speak to your servers, you should be able to dine and make the theater for the 8pm performance on Day 3. With My Time Dining you can easily adjust your dining time to make any of the three performances- one of the advantages of MTD.

Another case of RCCL reps not knowing the facts. I am on the June 14th sailing and, as of yesterday, can book Mamma Mia. The only shows are at 2.30 and 8.30 on the final sea day, which is far from ideal but at least we can see it if we want to.

We are on June 21st sailing and Mama Mia is showing as available for reservations, however when I go in to reserve I can only select number of passengers and am unable to select a date or time. Two hours later now and cannot even get into our cruise planner as "cruise is being modified" it says.

I think it's a bit hit or miss. I just made our bookings for Mama Mia this morning without a problem. If you try again, it could work! :)

It may be rushed, but I would think you could make the 8pm show. I'm pretty sure when on Voyager and Grandeur many years ago, the set times were 6pm dinner and 8pm show.

For the 4:30pm and 6:30pm shows, yes, you would need to eat elsewhere....either book specialty restaurant or somewhere like windjammer or Park Cafe.

Do people not realize that your "cruise Specialist " that work for the cruise lines are nothing more than a call center where most have never been on a cruise and have worked less then a year , nothing special about them and they often don't have the correct info.

Now I do know that there are some who have cruised and worked for the company for a great length of time and do know what their talking about but it's a small percentage.
