vickila Posted October 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2014 Lunch in the MDR for great salad in addition to menu items. 70's street party in promenade, generally 10:30 pm, 45 zany minutes! The Quest, last formal night in the ice rink (covered) ....absolute best! Walking all the way around on deck 12 . Depending on cruise activity staff, 10:30 pm game shows in Maharaja can be a blast too! Fun ship! Enjoy. Hope CD is Leigh and Erky. V.

Ocean Boy Posted October 18, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 18, 2014 haha I am not sure about that. How high is the climb? If I recall correctly it is about 30 ft. on the Voyager class ships. You are about 200 ft. above the ocean at the top of it. It is FUN!:)

Yorkvillain Posted October 18, 2014 #13 Share Posted October 18, 2014 Since you are leaving in January, go to the Viking Crown Lounge for sail away. Go right up after the muster drill so you can get a seat. And make sure you use the Aft elevators to get there. Also, maybe go to Portofino one night for dinner and have plenty of late night snacks at Cafe Promenade.

Life is Good Cruising Posted October 19, 2014 #17 Share Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) Also Karaoke in the Maharajah Lounge, some are great and some are funny :) and the Love and Marriage game. Enjoy Explorer, she is one of our favorite ships and will be missed when she leaves Bayonne for good :( Edited October 19, 2014 by Life is Good Cruising
LoveyHowell Posted October 19, 2014 #18 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Quest is a lot of adult fun. Love and Marriage always a riot (but not RCI specific). We liked the silent party. It's actually more fun to watch than participate! Helipad great for sailaways!

Clarea Posted November 17, 2014 #20 Share Posted November 17, 2014 What is chamber "silent party?" Silent Party is in the nightclub where the music is via headphones. Each person can choose one of two channels, each having different music. Very amusing to watch the dancing and singing.

Langley Cruisers Posted November 18, 2014 #23 Share Posted November 18, 2014 Does anyone know if they still have a time for the kids to ice skate? Yes. The times vary according to itinerary and sea conditions, actually. Check the printed Cruise Compass daily for details.
