As he drove, Ted told us all about the history of Barbados, and its development into a desirable (and expensive) island paradise.

The remains of an old sugar mill. Barbados still grows sugar cane and produces rum, of course (Mount Gay), but it is a fully automated process. Ted distains it as unworthy of our attention. (and it's Saturday ;))

In these caves, the dripping of water creates stalactites and stalagmites.

First you walk around a room, reading the wall posters and watching little videos, to learn about the Cave. I only posted a couple of these. (you are welcome. ;) :D)

Then you go into the next room and watch a movie.

Then you are supposed to board a tram and descend into the Cave.

We did that............but only after a REALLY LONG delay. The young lady finally came and told us that the tram was having technical difficulties. We waited and waited and waited.

It was dark and poorly lit (on purpose), but my iphone did the best that it could under the circumstances.

We are also sailing on EX on 12-4-2014.

Also did they have overflow for the CL. I think we have a lot of D+ and P onboard.

The Explorer uses overflow areas as needed. It varies based on need. :)
