was a bit sad to see the flag come down signalling the last port but we still had a nice evening ahead and another whole sea day of relaxation.

on that note, everywhere I went, I saw crew cleaning. They seemed very meticulous about it. Many times I would walk by an area and see someone cleaning an obscure panel or something I would never had noticed was there. It was great attention to detail and these people are proud of their work... they would always lend a smile and "hello" as I walked by for the most part.

only the curve of the world behind us..

there are a couple banks of drink stations on either side of the mid ship pool area.. very convenient.

Red Frog Rum Bar, located opposite end forward of Guys on the mid ship pool area

random bathrooms: only reason I took this was I noticed a small trash can outside of all of them..went into one to find out tissue dispensers were mounted to the inside of the doors to use to open the doors without touching them, then dispensing the tissue in the can as you leave. A very welcome idea to help reduce any spreadable contaminant.

only shot I got of the EA sports bar. will be interesting to see what happens to this space sine Carnival severed partnership recently.

The Pizza Pirate station open 24-7 located next to the specialty coffee station at the rear of lido deck 9.

Bonzai Sushi .. located just as you enter the ship on deck 2 promenade. Another refit addition. It looked nice, but this is as full as I ever saw it. I can't imagine there were not other ideas that beat this as an addition. Every day in the announcements, they would push this venue.

Now lets have a look under the rose colored glass at David's Steakhouse..

What a magnificent venue. We ate here once. I had a fantastic filet mignon, but Annie didnt have anything past the appetizer for she was feeling a bit queasy.

WOW! What an incredible proposal - I do believe that is the first I have ever heard one getting on the proverbial knee hanging on to a chute above the ocean. Quite unique. Still loving your review too.

thanks, sorry to get sidetracked by the story away from the review. I promise to get back on track

The Alchemy Bar. another refit addition just outside the entry hallway for the Normandie main dining room deck 3 aft. There never was much happening here. and below was the most people I ever saw. People liked the light-up menus but maybe they just didn't understand the concept or didn't like it was a at-cost thing..

there was some glass vase art at the corners of some of the stairways.

No apologies needed. This is your review and inviting and sharing your personal stories in part is what makes reviews good IMO. And who doesn't like a good proposal story!

ATM and Sail and Sign Kiosk. You can swipe your card and get up to the minute info on account use and you can even change U.S. currency to different bills down to $5 increments. It is located just inside the casino. there is no cost to change the bills.

Dive in Movies. Picture was good. Enjoyed "Guardians of the Galaxy". the darks in the movie on screen are a bit too dark and the sound varied from too low to too high, but it's still quite enjoyable. Popcorn is indeed free but expect plain popcorn, no butter, only had salt available when I saw it

It seemed odd to bring my camera to the main dining room, so I took a couple pics while walking outside around the back of the ship. It was bright and very modern art deco. VERY subdued for Farcus. We loved it. Service was a little slow but I think when you consider the size of the 2 story dining room equaling about a dozen regular sized restaurants being worked at the same time, it's really quite a feat.

For future reference, a lot of people take their cameras to the main dining room. They mostly take pics of the servers when they are performing, pics of themselves with their servers if they are particularly good, & pics of the food.

I just spent part of the afternoon getting caught up with your review. I am really enjoying it. I loved the part about rolling the rhino and so glad no one got hurt, but I'm sure it was an experience all will laugh about in the future. We did something similar on a western Caribbean cruise while in Cozumel in 2006 but I don't think they were called rhinos, but they were very similar. It was called "Beach Buggy & snorkel" and I'll never forget how dusty we'd gotten but it was a lot of fun. I'm really enjoying your pictures, just beautiful! We've been on two western Caribbean cruises now (2006 on Miracle & 2014 on Liberty) and I always enjoy reviews of itineraries we've been on. I love how you proposed! Congratulations to both of you! Thank you for taking the time do do a review.

Good Morning ...uh Last Sea Day..

1_zps7c566465.jpg

2_zpsf0277b3c.jpg

we were given out disembark info and luggage tags. Due to our FTTF, we received priority disembark tags (Boarding Group #1 to be exact). Doesn't get much better than that. This meant after the self-assist (people taking all their baggage with them), we were next up.

we spent the after breakfast time packing to get it out of the way so we could enjoy the rest of the day.

well...someone found their favorite spot to enjoy the day.. hmm lucky enough to get a clam shell chair on the serenity deck and "candy crush" and a mimosa I provided...Annie was all set
