anonmom Posted July 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Looking to book on the Splendor for December and not sure when to do the booking, since the perks seem to change every week. Is the 15 drinks/day package ever offered for free as a booking perk, like NCL does? If not, what perk should I hold out for? It seems like it has mostly been reduced deposits and small amounts of OBC in the time I've been checking prices.

forwardcabin Posted July 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Don't look for a perk worth more than 50% deposit or some OBC.
crazycatlady82 Posted July 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Other cruise lines do though. I've never seen it with Carnival.
RHilla619 Posted July 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Never seen Carnival give the Cheers Program as a booking perk, but I have seen Royal Carribean do so. However if we are being honest its not really a "free drink package", sure you aren't paying for it but you can bet the price was thrown into the cruise fare. Qcruise Posted July 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 27, 2015 I can tell you Princess just did it for our 2016 cruise.....that's a $350 pp incentive that worked for my wife and I who would never purchase one.

Reduced deposit, cabin upgrades, and OBC is about all I've seen offered from Carnival.
