Thanks alrichards and bobbyprez, glad you guys will be following!

For our booking we received the 4 following amenities included, the dining allowed us to book a separate specialty restaurant each night of the week.

-Ultimate Dining

-Internet Package (250 Minutes)

-Choice Shore Excursion Credit $50

-Free $150 On-Board Credit Certificate Non -Refundable

I will see how the internet package offsets the unlimited package I purchased separately but I believe from the last time it give me a credit on our account for that value.

Also being this September is our 10th Wedding Anniversary, I am surprising my wife with the party package Anniversary setup which includes I believe decorations and a cake and maybe strawberry and Non alcoholic sparkling wine,(not sure about exactly what is included as it has been a bit since booking it). We may do a couple massage once onboard as well.

This being a relaxing cruise for us, we plan to hopefully hit the Haven pool, get some sun, try our luck in the casino, see a show, one we hopefully have not seen yet, and hit some of the outdoor activities like putt putt golf and the water slides, (I give the chance of doing the water slide at 1 out of 1000 :) not in a million years would I ).

Once docked in Bermuda, we are hopeful to hit Horseshoe Bay for a day of beach and sun on Wednesday, or Elbow Beach, or Tobacco Bay over by St. George, or a ferry ride to Hamilton or St. George, or an island tour. So many options we are playing it by ear at the moment depending on the weather but a good bet will be some beach time to celebrate the winding down of summer.

I will stop rambling with excitement, thanks for following along everyone, and I hope the current cruisers are having a blast and continue having a safe journey!

You have GOT to do the water slides!! They are a blast...and I'm an old lady! :D

We went on Wednesday as everyone was battling to get off the ship. There were 4 of us on the slides and in the pool!

SeaDog,

Glad to see you're doing another one. We really enjoy them. Maybe you can win another $4000 to pay for the Haven! We'll be on the Breakaway Sept 6th. So try to leave a little money in the casino for us to win. Otherwise, looking forward to following along with you. We're really interested in the best options for Bermuda. Can't wait to see your first post on board.

Here's my fear of the water slides getting stuck half way on the larger ones on Breakaway [emoji3]

Thanks Kerry, glad you are following us next week and then again the week after on your own cruise!

Another Royal would be sweet, but I probably have worse odds of that than getting on one of the slides, lol.

Yeah there are so many options in Bermuda, one we will not opt for is a scooter rental, as I have seen some close calls by other people on them lol.

Thanks again for following!

Seadog67,

Can you check to see if the Haven restaurant still has actual lobster on the night they do the seafood feast in the buffet? We were on Breakaway last November and had gone to the buffet, only to be asked by one of the Haven waiters why we missed Lobster night the night before. If so, can you tell me which night they do it.

I know they have stopped it for the rest of the ship except some specialties.

Thanks in advance, and good luck in the casino.

Keep on cruisin

Hi seadog

I love "live from" reports. Im interested in anything about the ships as we'll be on her in March.

Do you have a link to your Quantum report? We're on Anthem next year so I'd love to see that one.

Thanks

Thanks for following along Hansolosmom, (your sons new movie is coming out soon LOL )! I will provide as much pics and info as I can on the Breakaway! Here is the link to the Quantum Trip:

Btw: I loved the celebrity solstice and have tried twice to get on the reflection, but had to cancel both times. Looking forward to finally sailing on her one day!

Seadog67, please let me know how the Haven is. I went on the Breakaway in 2013, didn't like it; but we weren't in the Haven. Not cruising this year but hopefully next year and I'd like to try the suite life. :D

BTW, I'm watching the Port Bermuda webcam now. It was raining earlier today, it looks partly cloudy/hazy now.

I will let you know, but this will be our 4th time on Breakaway in the Haven and as you will see next week hopefully from my pictures and videos that it is a great part of the ship to be in. The pool area is separate and is usually nice and relaxing with less people in it during many times. It has it's own restaurant for dining which is very nice, ( we manly eat there for Breakfast and lunch).

As I mentioned in an earlier post, we do not particularly care for the main pool deck area as much as on other ships, so when we cruise BA we try to afford the Haven.

We do love most other venues and places on the BA however and love the open centrum area that spans three or four decks including the casino and such.

Hope you give it a try and have a better time next year and thanks for following!!

Looking forward to your report as we are sailing the following week and it's our first time on the Breakaway. Not Haven but I did get a nice big aft balcony.

Thanks for following Quads! Aft balconies are actually our favorites, when we can get them. They sellout fast on many ships.

Have a great time and hope you enjoy the pics coming next week.

Looking forward to your review, have a wonderful time!

Thanks scopewest, glad to have you along!

This is perhaps one of my favorite things about cruising, morning coffee looking out of the balcony, cannot wait:

Seadog. Be sure to be on time Friday when BA leaves Bermuda. She had 2 passengers that were late today, again. This is getting to become a habit. ;). I saw them running on the pier (and could hear the cheers/jeers from everyone on their balconies on the webcam.) Waiting to see if they made the pilot boat from St George. ;)

I will be sure to make it back... maybe LOL. Sounds like Bermuda is giving Cozumel a run for its money with tardiness :)

Work is done! Off for 10 days and looking forward to our cruise to my favorite port Bermudaaa. Look for some updates over the next day with the load out of the old chuckwagon with our luggage and pics and play by play from our jaunt up the Jersey Turnpike to Manhattan on Sunday morning and as we monitor Erika who we hope doesn't become a tart with no heart and ruin our weather next week :)

Thanks for following along.
